Do u know how often/long they ride bike? Nope.
Additionally: u don't know if they got a e-bike or bikes with high gear shift bikes

    >Do they really eat that many calories?
Well, losing weight isnt that easy, anon. seems like u forget that losing 1kg means u have to forgo 7000kcals.

With a high gear shift or a e-bike u don't use ur muscles hard enough to get sporty results/burn much cals. Most people ride bike for fun not to lose weight.

Isn’t an ebike better though because you can ride for way longer the way I understand it is you still have to pedal for the motor to kick in

But the motor makes it easier, thus less calories burned. Ebikes are for old or disabled people.

    >Do they really eat that many calories?
An hour of cycling is enough to burn off calories equivalent to a sandwich.
Do you think that fat b***h rides for an hour? Do you think she is satisfied with a sandwich?

      >equivalent to a sandwich
Depends on the pace, my app hints I burn from 8 kcal/min at slow pace city cycling (which is hardly more than plain walking burns) up to 15 kcal/min when doing it on the roads. I tend to believe the latter number, and "the sandwich" is 15-20 min then. One hour is a full meal.

        >he believes the machines that benefit from being fat
All phone apps and exercise machines show a very optimistic calorie burn

Obviously it depends on the pace, but do you see fat people making an actual effort? No, they're leisurely pedaling while eating candy.

If working is a good way to make money, why are so many working people poor? Shouldn't they at least be lower middle class? Do they really spend that much?

from not being in a calorie deficiency. You can exercise as much as you want but if you still eat like a lardass with seed oils every meal, you won't get anywhere

They're likely in the beginning stages of the process, anon. They have to start somewhere and I'd rather they moronicly cycle around giving the placebo of weight loss, rather than decaying on a couch or something.

i can actually explain this. its a couple factors.
    1. cyclists are a variety of people. not all do it for fitness so some arent serious about it. theyre weekend warriors that go out like once a week and call it "exercise". cycling is sometimes used as a cope for fatties that dont want to admit theyre lazy pieces of shit.
    2. a lot of old retiree dudes do it. the joke about dentists being cyclists is because old guys with lots of money pick up the sport but otherwise dont really put the time in to train, similar to the first point but also old.
    3. yeah they really do eat that many calories. since cycling burns about 800 kcal an hour if you are at a respectable pace, people will literally go for a ride and then power down 4 beers and a cheeseburger, completely destroying any weight loss they would have achieved.

Cycling is the most calorie efficient means of locomotion. You'd need to ride your bike for hours to burn any meaningful amount of calories and not eat McGoyslup at every meal for it to work. Which these people likely do not do.

Just high gear and keep paddling

This is correct. I used to bike 10 miles every morning in addition to lifting and I gained weight because I was eating whatever I wanted. Very easy to gain weight if cycling is your cardio.

plenty of cardiogays stay fat as frick because they constantly overeat.
    >oh i just jogged 5km in 40 minutes time to treat myself!
fatfrickery is more pervasive in cycling because running is seen as more difficult, but there are even fat people that train for half marathons and marathons and shit. complete waste of time lol

Cardio alone isn't enough to make someone not fat. They still have a burger and fries waiting for them at the doorstep

I cycle shirtless the whole summer to tan and mog, what I see is:

    >fat middle aged guys with a gut in all the correct hear (latex, plastic helmet, decent road bike)
    >skinnygay lanklet DYELs in expensive latex and expensive plastic helmets who go fast

The funny thing is that the fat guys are year in year out fat, no matter how much I see them.

    >why do I see so many fat cyclists on the road? Shouldn't they at least be skinny fat?
Cycling is mostly a LISS activity unless you're going very fast or uphill. The people who train to do ironmen / bike racing are almost all skinny in the upper ranks.
    >Do they really eat that many calories?
    Yes.

So, for a long time I did a lot of cycling as a hobby specifically century rides. I think when a lot of people think of cyclists they think of serious ones - tour de france bodied guys who have a good amount of strength and a ton of endurance. The reality of many amateur/casual cycling (the people who show up at a century ride and only ever do the metric one and never standard) is that there are TON of out of shape fat fricks who participate in them.

Now you're probably wondering how and why this happens. Well, it's pretty simple, and it's one of the things which goes overlooked in FPH when fatties say "OH I'M FIT! I WORK OUT! I CAN BE FIT AND FAT!" and everyone rolls their eyes. Some of these fat fricks can complete 100km rides with relative ease, and some of them cycle very regularly. Here are my theories on it:

    1. They don't go particularly fast, so their fat jiggly thighs are never really working hard on their own

    2. They use the weight and force of their fat tree-truck legs as leverage on the pedals and stay in low gears where even though they are propelling a heavy weight forward, they still can move with very little effort

    3. If they DO exercise regularly, it's only EVER cardio and it's only ever on a bike. Even fatties can build up cardiovascular endurance with effort, but the one thing they sure as frick won't do is burn a lot of calories. As everyone here should know, cardio is terrible as weight loss exercise compared to weight lifting, and cycling in particular is one of the least calorie burning forms of cardio since it's really only half of your body, and a lot of the work can be compensated for via leverage.

    4. They still eat like absolute monsters and eclipse the modest caloric burn caused by their cardio workout with ease.

This is how 250 pound hamplanets are cycling around on road bikes. They actually DO workout, just in the dumbest way possible for fat loss, and they build endurance enough to pedal the bike slowly in easy gearing.
