It's all footnoted in the book. There have been several FOIA releases. The fact that releases such as this are not a national scandal, is itself a national failure.

You see conspiracy theorists say it makes people compliant an obedient while US inner-cities who would be the ones consuming it the most are violent as frick.
Allegedly it slightly lowers medical costs for society as a whole due to trace amounts of it stopping small cavities early. If there is a conspiracy it would have something to do with the industry behind it insisting its a worthwhile product when its not and just a waste of tax dollars.

Bernay's was one of the propagandists. Hodge was a ''scientist'' involved in promoting it at the federal reports level within government in order to get the government on board.

Hodge was a bastard. A conglomerate of corporations formed a co-op research facility to study toxicity of their own chemicals so they would be ahead of the curve when they eventually got sued. The broad in charge of the lab at its founding was a true believer. Hodge acted as her mentor and convinced her to test fluoride as the first chemical. She was reluctant because she was convinced that it was harmless. She thought fluoride was a waste of her time. When she submitted her unbiased toxicity reports, she was laughed out of town by establishmentarians. That is the kind of butthole Hodge is. The pure fluorine at the Oak Ridge Lab was a real nightmare. When the gas leaks out of the tank, it will vaporize whatever it contacts and build a streamer back to the tank like lightning does. Then the fluorine seeks you out and zaps you. All o this is in The Fluoride Deception. One third of the book is footnoted evidence. It is a solid read. Our government does not love us.

Yeah, it’s pretty fricked up. I can’t remember the exact details but companies had leftover fluoride from aluminum processing
            > The fluoride campaign began in the late 1930s and continues to this day. It was hatched at the highest levels of Alcoa, the aluminum mining and smelting corporation. Fluoride is a waste product produced during aluminum processing and requires special handling and disposal. Treating it as a hazardous material is expensive and eroded Aloca's bottom line.

It is also used as a fluxing agent for uranium. A lot of fluoridated compounds came out of the nuclear industry because they needed ancillary chemicals that could survive the fluorine fluxing of the nuclear materials.

Perhaps but it lowers IQ 7-10 points and alters your brain chemistry and calcifies your pineal gland. But you’re too fluoridated to think yourself out of the problem you’re in and get Reverse Osmosis, trace minerals, and iodine, like I’ve done.

            > A significant inverse relationship was found between the fluoride concentration in drinking water and IQ (r value = −0.204; P < 0.000). It was observed that IQ level was negatively correlated with fluoride concentration in drinking water.

            Conclusion:

It is concluded that IQ level was negatively correlated with fluoride level in drinking water. Factors that might affect children's IQ need to be considered, and it is necessary to devise solutions for preventing the harmful effects of excessive intake of fluoride ion to the body.

Bro, in the health report of miners that was used to support fluoridation of water, they only noted that those with the highest exposure to fluoride had the least amount of dental caries. They neglected to mention that this was due to most of their teeth having rotted out of their mouths. The evidence was disingenuously presented. There is an inverse relationship between fluoride exposure and dental health. Seriously, read the book. The author spent the whole last third of the book on footnotes. It is a solid piece of work.
