I also would taper off a bit when I was in a relationship and got comfortable.The difference being that hitting the gym is just such a habit I enjoy and a part of my life that I get antsy if I don't go somewhat regularly. I'd end up skipping a few weeks that'd turn into months, but once I hit a certain weight I'd just have to hit the gym out of self-respect and then realized how much I miss it, and miss being in shape. It was a self respect thing.
Problem is women either don't know how be in shape other than starving themselves, only did it for peer approval or to be attractive enough to get a guy or just didn't have enough self respect to ignore their own comfort and do something to get out of that zone for a bigger reward for themselves.

What is the difference between lifting a person like that vs a barbell? My ohp max is 210 lbs, but I could see myself dropping a 140 pound girl because her weight was off-center.
Weight distribution is uneven unlike a barbell. Most weight is concentrated at the center whereas a barbell will have it at the ends. Which changes which stabilizers are used and will also require you to have a decent ability to balance weight that is shifting since they'll probably be moving while you are lifting them.
