Maybe, but I just like it and I'm young. I lift daily. I put on 30 pounds of lean mass from age 18-21.
I was 170lbs working out 3 times a week and my lifts stalled. I bumped up my volume to 5 times a week and my numbers skyrocketed. So you're wrong.

Even as an athlete we only worked out thrice a week, with most of that encompassed in cardio. Injuries become far more frequent if you work out more. the only way to workout that much is literally goku maxx and eat 6000 calories and sleep 16 hours.
You're not going to injure yourself as a bodybuilder unless you're an absolute moron with shit form. You're also likely training cardio as a gay athlete, 3 times a week is not enough frequency to stimulate hypertrophy unless you are doing full body.
