Nothing brings out coping fattys like a good BMI thread.
Every fat frick thinks BMI doesnt apply to them because they benched 400lbs in high school and are still mostly muscle under their fat layer even though they havent lifted in 20 years.

This, it works for the average person, around the average height. if youre tall then BMI will be slightly scewed. If you lift, it will scew BMI

BMI literally takes height into account.
Unless you roid or are an elite natty lifter or are a 0.001% genetic outlier, BMI is an adequate method for both you and (You).

BMI is for the average person, in terms of muscle mass and height, its not made for the the extremes.

You can still be overweight and have low bodfat percentage if you actually lift. You can easily count 5kg to your 25 bmi weight which would get you to 26 or 27 bmi at most.

Weight isn't just about calories you put in your mouth. Midwit europoor is some one sided dogmatic believer in CICO he refuses to accept new obesity research that suggests obesity isn't just about eating too much calories

Unironically, you need to post one with more extreme weights. I'm 6' 1" 287lbs. I have lost 20lbs over the last month though.

Also I do not believe that 140lbs is healthy for a 6'1" man wtf. 170-200 seems reasonable, not 140-185.

Idk my dad was 6'2 142 in highschool and went to state for wrestling. I don't think it's THAT abnormal if you're really lean.
Pic related is a 6'4 clint eastwood and he doesn't look very heavy here.

140 lbs at 6’1 can have about 30-40 lbs of fat so yes it is unhealthy just not in the way you thought

If I am 20% bf, 85kg @ 6'4". I want to be 79 kg in order to get somewhere 15-18%. Should I cut at a rate of 3 kg a month or slower at like 2 kg or so? I have read that losing more than 1 kg is counterproductive since you start losing lean mass even if at a high bf%.

Yeah. I'm not fat, but you can't see my 8-pack.

Then again, as a college-level rowing athlete at 198lbs (15 years ago), you could easily see my 8-pack, so these 20lbs don't really mean much beyond that.
