I'm going to flat out ask, how the frick do I quit these? I quit for more than a year but I got hooked back on them. I've wasted a couple hundred already. they do help me not eat, but when I'm off them I eat too much and gain weight back, so it's been a cycle. They also make me lazier for some reason and hooked on porn more.

What do I do?

smoke cigarettes to help you quit vapes

Honestly, it is easier to quit cigs as the way the nicotine is released from cigs is less intense. You get the same amount from one cig that you do from a few puffs from a vape, so understand the vape streamlines the process of getting it into your brain much faster, giving you a very sharp, intense, increase in nicotine.

Anyways the way to quit isn't to go and start smoking cigs instead, it is to just quit. If you have friends that vape, ask them to not let you hit theirs when you hang with them, because you probably will.

I also think it is good to quit on a day that you aren't too busy. The first 3-5 days are the worst of the worst, so try to have around 3-5 days of easy living.

Another thing to think about is life generally keeps getting harder every single year, so don't tell yourself "eh I will just keep vaping until I finish college because I will then quit when I am done!" I do not know a single person who has quit vaping after college as now, their lives are more difficult with real responsibilities.

After those 3-5 days, you will still have withdrawl symptoms, but they won't be as intense and you will better know how to deal with them. After around 2 weeks, you will begin to hardly even think about vaping. Occasionally you will, but you will easily be able to distract yourself. So focus on getting to 2 weeks off.

DO NOT THINK YOU HAVE QUIT BECAUSE YOU HAVE MADE IT TO 2 WEEKS, that is not true. You will be completely over it after a few months, but 2 weeks is when its super easy to not think about vaping.

Additionally, know that if you keep smoking those gay ass "strawnana vapes" you will probably get some sort of disease later in life when you are already stressed from other shit. You could potentially get bladder cancer, where you have to get a camera stuck up your dick hole a few times a year by some Black person nurse to see if the cancers have gotten worse. If they have gotten worse, then you get surgery where they stick a camera AND a laser up your dick hole (while you are under) to remove the cancers. Then you have a week of fricking bloody piss multiple times at night and dick pain.

All because you couldnt stop inhaling a gay ass vape.

(My dad has bladder cancer btw and he has told be about the procedures, this thought has haunted me forever.)

        Finally, understand the withdrawls:

        > Urge to hit a vape
This is literally a demon in your head who doesn't want to see a young homie succeed

        > Coughing up phlegm
This is your body finally getting the chance to remove the shit you have been constantly been inhaling

        > Sweating at night and inability to sleep
This is your body again removing the nicotine and shit. You are sweating it out and also, as your body moves the chemicals away from your brain/blood, you feel it and can't sleep

        > Anxiety and Pissed off mood
This is because your animal Black person brain is mad that it is no longer constantly getting a reward. Take this time to learn how to deal with these emotions so that when you become mad and anxious from something legit, you can control it.

I am sure you know this as you quit for over a year, but relearning these helped me quit again. I was similar to you, I quit for over a year and then got hooked on cigarettes when I visited Europe. Couldn't quit but watched a lot of youtube videos on how to do so and they helped me quit again.

About the vape making you want to watch porn, I feel that. I think it has something to do with the fact that you are vaping, which you know is bad, so you might as well jerk off, as you know that is bad too but since you are already doing one bad thing, might as well do the other.

When you quit vaping, I would continue to watch porn as otherwise, quitting both at the same time will be too much. Plus, jerking off helps you sleep when you are going through withdrawls from vaping.

After you hit the 5 day marker on quitting vaping, then I would add quitting porn. This will give you a higher chance of success as quitting two things at once is way too hard. If you think you have the willpower to quit both at the same time, you don't. The only people who have the willpower to quit both at the same time are the people who have never gotten into vaping or porn in the first place lol.

Anyways, the guy I linked has some info on quitting porn as well. It is harder than quitting vaping for multiple reasons including its free and easy to get through your phone. The reason jerking off helps you sleep is because you are going through withdrawls when you are not watching porn.

GL homie. When you quit vaping and porn, you will feel what it is like to be completely lucid. Having a baseline of lucidity means you just constantly feel fricking so good. This good feeling will then be reflected in your outward appearance, making you more attractive and approachable. Also quitting gives you valuable skills that have implications in other fields.

All these homosexuals like to larp as guts or some other anime homosexual, but they can't even face the easy hardship of fricking quitting vaping and porn. I like to think that demons are real but they aren't little red homosexuals with pitchforks, but rather the intrusive thoughts in your head to tell you to hit a vape or jerk off. If you can't kill these easy ass demons, then there is no way you are a fricking main character in an anime.

Lmao you got me monologuing but the reason I know what lucidity feels like is I went through a really tough break up and I was so depressed, I didn't feel like jerking off and I wasn't vaping at the time. I was barely eating, I don't really smoke weed and I don't really drink anymore. Even though I was super depressed, the feeling of no porn, or any other vice felt so good. Everything was so HD, I had no brain fog, and every single sense was heightened. I still felt like shit as I was depressed, but the feeling total lucidity was so amazing it has made me try to feel that again. Eventually, I felt like jerking off and bought a vape to "get through this depression" but it really made shit worse.

That lucid feeling is how I felt as like a 10 year old child, a blank slate, where everything was so bright and intense. It is so wild to me to think how most people don't feel like this all the time anymore.

Oh and, IST and israelitetube also bring you away from this lucidity. The reason I am on IST rn is I am on vacation and unironically use it for news sometimes, but it is so easy to get trapped on this fricking site. It is easy to quit when you have friends and are constantly doing shit outside with them.

            But yeah anyways gl homosexual

      Two weeks is for cigarettes
With vapes you suffer for like 3 days tops

    Shitloads of coffee

    >I'm going to flat out ask, how the frick do I quit these?
do not buy them or use them anymore.

  6. 3 weeks ago

Nicorette spray was the best replacement.
Also if you’ve got friends that vape be very forthright with your intention to quit and tell them not to let you bum off them, or don’t let them israelite you into buying a vape for when you hang out (this happened to me repeatedly).
And ultimately just realize how much money / time you waste on these dumb robo-wieners and that they’re slowly killing you (spend 4 years buying these things and only just quit around Christmas)

    >each addiction chained to the last
You need to radically rethink your lifestyle and priorities, Jesus Christ.

  8. 3 weeks ago

If you have to choose between either vaping, or not vaping but being a fat porn addict, choose vaping. If vaping could cure my pom addiction I'd do it in a heartbeat.
But if you really wanna quit, here's the secret: just fricking stop doing it. You stopped once for a year, just do that again.

  9. 3 weeks ago

You quit them like you quit smoking, because it is smoking. 3 days it's all it takes for the physical addiction to go away. I used to smoke cigs and after the 24 hour mark I smoked one to take the edge off. You could do something similar.

    What a coincidence. Try this.

lot of words for a bunch of drug addicts

  12. 3 weeks ago

same way you get over any addiction, which is taper down.
cold turkey only works for people with naturally high willpower- where if you are an addict you naturally lack. my grandpa quit cigarettes cold turkey cause he had high willpower, but few people can do it.
track how long you can go without it. a week, a day, hell even an hour.
then, after you inevitably frick up, taper down. try to go a little longer without using. there's a ton of apps that let you measure and reset when you frick up.
i use a little calnder with a sticker book i bought. if i go the whole day without jerking it, I put a sticker on the calendar.
just keep doing that until you get to weeks or months and by the time you can go months without thinking about it you've basically resolved the situation.

thanks for the advice guys I'm seriously going to take all of this into account. thanks for the help everyone. I'll continue reading the thread

Two things that helped me : cultivating an attitude of disgust towards vaping & recognising the addictive cycle. Step back and see the pattern: vape, wait till desire to vape /cravings , repeat. Thats the loop, you can gain nothing. Theres no progression, just this exhausting cycle stretching onwards. The times when i quit were when i got fed up having to repeat this. I'd stop for a month or two, then restart (usually because i'd been drinking). The disgust part is what eventually led me to properly quit. Disgust with vapes, not with yourself for being addicted.

  15. 3 weeks ago

As a smoker, I never understood the appeal. It's literally some fruity juice flavored glycerin, you can't light it up, there's NO smoke like from a cig, it doesn't END like a cig, it doesn't look tasteful ever unlike cig, you can't share it, it's not lindy, and they're just plain weird.

Seriously why do men suck them. Girls I can understand, they don't know what they do.

  16. 3 weeks ago

I used zyns instead for a while and then I quit those
being a rooner helps because it's very noticeable how much better my recovery is once I've been off all nicotine for at least a week or two and then I'm motivated to stay away from it for months

  17. 3 weeks ago

Just do it, cold turkey. Don't look back, if you can't quit something you shouldn't even be alive, keep consuming, look at yourself in the mirror every time you take a hit of your vape, look how pathetic you look
