I need help formulating my plan to look like Leon from resident evil 4

Heres my plan so far guys:
Going heaviest I can for rep ranges

Day 1:
OHP 12-15x3
Incline Bench 8-12x3
Lat raises/Cable delt stuff 8-12x3
Dips? idk

Day 2:
Curls 12-15x3
Tricep Extension 20-25x3
Pullups (as many as I can do 3 times)

Day 3:
Squats 10-12x3

I do boxing twice a week so thatll be my cardio
I'm gonna slow bulk .5-1lb per week, im 135lb 5'10 right now with my goal at the moment being 145, then evaluating my progress

    everything I have read from people much smarter than myself has indicated that maximum strength gain, and hypertrophy, is achieved by performing at least one leg workout per session. this is because it releases the largest amount of HGH (human growth hormone) since it is a large muscle group being worked out and therefore releases a larger proportion of this hormone.

    additionally, this routine is not going to build a good, core, foundtional frame of strength and size which you would need in order to make the neccessary steps towards looking like this cartoon character

    thirdly, and most importantly, you must perform 1 set MAXIMUM of 6-12 reps of your heaviest possible weight to failure. Look like Mike Mentzer. the routine you have suggested is way too hight in volume and will only serve to build up endurance, not strength.

        Building muscle is going to be harder than you're expecting. You don't want to do a minimalist program mate, trust me. Besides, maintaining it is piss easy compared to building it. Only takes about half the volume to keep what you build

      thanks for posting this program, gonna start it next week. but ive got some questions, whats the rest time you're referring to here? is it the rest between sets or the rest days? also why is it better to double the rest time and repeat day 1 and 2 instead of following through the original scheme?

        They're saying to rest around 1 minute between sets. You'll have way better performance and not feel rushed if you rest at least 2 minutes between sets. The reason to cut out day 3 is because an all isolations day isn't the best idea when you're first starting unless its something simple like an arm day. You're more than likely not going to have the bodily awareness to get much out of a bull body isolations day like that when you first get started

So instead of making up your own routine that will yield suboptimal results, just pick a beginner routine from the sticky. It’ll make your stronger and bigger the fastest way. If you want, you can throw in some light arm accessories for size and stuff like face pulls as shoulder prehab instead. Or you can just make up your own stuff, stall early, and restart with a proper routine once you’ve matured enough.
