Benefits of Kefir? I compared the milk I normally drink (a "50% more protein" type) and Kefir and the macros were about the same but Kefir is super sour unless you get a sweetened kind.
Seemingly our mental state is heavily linked to what's called our gut biome, basically the state of the bacteria in our guts
Keffir is supposed to encourage a healthy gut biome, which in theory should then improve your mood over time.
I mean does it have better probiotics than cottage cheese and greek yogurt + probiotic supplements? Does it have DIFFERENT probiotics?
I'll try to work some in, maybe start rotating keffir and yogurt.
Different probiotics. No lactose. Name translates to "feel good."
It's probably not as old as yogurt as far as fermented food is concerned but it's been around a long time. They sell it in the streets in some palces of EE and they used to in ukraine.
most of the probiotic dairy based drinks run on two kinds of probiotics : lactobifidus and lactobacillus. You really want some deeper gains you gotta look into obscure cultured cheeses who have some fungal/microbial properties that cross blood brain barrier.

i eat homemade unpasteurized cheeses all the time, never had any problem, cheese is based, just don't overdo it, eat a little bit every day, not massive amounts of "dead" cheese like the Americans do, real cheese is not the shit you eat in pizzas and burgers, you need unpasteurized stuff, in europe it's incredibly easy to find local cheeses, they are made traditionally by a lot of folks
>kefir with sugar added
anon id go plain if u can
for me it's unflavored goat kefir. i break my fasts with it and it makes me feel amazing. genuinely one of the best foods ever invented
Storebought kefir is literally fake. Buy grains online and make it yourself, it's easy and you'll save plenty of money (and the drink will be both tastier and healthier).
yeah cats are pretty cool

And I forgot to mention casein which plays a good part as well in most cultured dairy drinks.

>macros guise
>food is fuel
>am I IST yet
Kys 80 IQ moron
Anon you could have just told me what I was overlooking instead of jumping straight to being a little fussypot about it.
i love the taste now
You start to enjoy a nice glass of plain kefir after a while
The benefits are gut health. It's full of probiotics. That's the only reason anyone is drinking fermented yogurt.
You like drinking cum?
Congrats I guess

Stop lording over others when you yourself arent all yhe way there.
( Pasturized. Grain fed . Not local. Plastic)
I didn't know there was a non sugar one, my grocery store didn't carry it.
>lowfat milk
>added sugar
>commercial dairy milk
You are doing it all wrong
Its so silly. Anon tries new food type that heard of that supposedly has all these effects and suddenly he feels awesome.
You are actually just placeboing your self. There is nothing magical about these food types. Its just fricking protein.

Not falling for this meme, i heard of anons getting sicks after trying this
