Every time someone posts this moronic argument it gets deboonked in seconds. Every single hot drink raises your risk of oral and throat cancer. Coffee and tea are way worse because mate is only served at around 80 degrees.

throat cancer is hpv virus. has nothing to do with hot liquid.

Been putting a small pinch of borax into my gym water bottle for a bit. Not sure if I've noticed anything but I do seem to be gradually dropping some fat which has been sticking around. Should probably be cycling it too but I dunno.
What's the yerba mate for? I remember it being included in energy drinks back when I used to buy them.

QRD on drinking borax in general? its my favourite laundry booster

The mineral boron in relevant doses has a strong effect in reducing SHBG which leads to higher free test. It also has other benefits for parathyroid, calcium regulation, etc. But it's not commonly found in soil so you can really only get trace amounts from diet.
A box of borax is basically a lifetime supply of boron supplementation for dirt cheap.

This is literally an attempt to get people to hurt themselves. Reporting this as illegal and reporting to cloudflare if the admins don’t respond. Good job getting the site shut down op. moron.

check wikipedia or a chemistry textbook first moron, it's non-lethal and the dose required for acute toxicity is beyond what could be reasonably consumed. though there are far better sources of boric acid, anon's only risking his own IQ here, not his life.

          please dont consume boric acid

            Anonymous

Why? It's only toxic at 5-20 g/kg in humans. That's less toxic than potassium. No, please don't close the thread. Explain why it's toxic.

              Anonymous

The dose makes the poison. You need a small amount of copper to make certain enzymes, but too much at once and you will puke. Same with zinc. Crazy amounts of vitamin D cause hypercalcemia and death. Too much water causes hyponatremia and brain swelling, then death. And too much boron is an endocrine dysruptor instead of a test booster.

No amount of boric acid is actually beneficial, however

They take borax for the boron (it's half/half boron and buric acid iirc) and it's more pure since borax is just a mineral mined out of the ground in California. Toxicity is a meme, literally everything is toxic that's why LD50 tables exist. Vitamin D is in rat poison.

    based

to those who don't know, borax is tetrasodium borate, so its sodium and boron, which are supplements your body needs, its also highly alkaline, thats how it cleans things, but there is nothing toxic about it.

looks like he's putting an 1/8th of a teaspoon in, thats the right dose.
