Im the exception

I’m one of the few percentages of people who couldn’t lose weight due to “certain rare conditions”

I was obese my entire life despite playing team sports my entire time in school and eating the same as everyone else. Then in college I tried eating 1000 cals deficit and running everyday and I couldn’t lose weight.
Then I found out by an endo that I had an issue with my pituitary gland that made it functionally impossible to lose weight (his words).
He gave me an injectable medication that spoofs the function of how the hormones in my body are supposed to work and I lost 100 lbs in 8 months without counting calories and exercising less.

I never believed the tumblr logic of “they can’t help it; they eat healthy” before I had this experience and now I concede to that statement that I previously thought was BS.

It literally wasn’t my fault and people treated me poorly and stigmatized everything I did for something I couldn’t control. I was never lazy, I never had an eating disorder, and I wasn’t delusional about how much I ate.

I literally don’t even know what to think anymore after having my worldview completely shattered.

    Not a thing fatty.

Reminder that 100 years ago this dude was considered fat enough people paid money to come and witness his abnormal body.

I’m literally 14% bodyfat right now, experienced it, and had it confirmed by a MD

I've been saying for years now that the only people who don't choose to be fat are those with legit medical issues (namely with the pituitary gland or because of a medication). You're further proof of that belief if this isn't a LARP

      I’m not LARPing, I promise.

Most people who say that are coping. You were right to be skeptical.

But whenever someone says that, there is one simple test to see if they’re honest or full of shit. If they actually had a medical condition, they would get it treated.

Well why did you gain all that fat in the first place

You can't change the laws of thermodynamics. It is literally impossible to not lose weight if you burn more energy than you consume, that's just basic physics.
    >But the doctor sai-
Doctors say you can turn a man into a woman by inverting his ballsack, I don't give a frick what they say anymore.

Then how did I lose 100 lbs by eating the same and exercising less?

You didn't, you were counting your calories wrong and not exercising as much as you thought. It is physically impossible for that not to be the case and it's what every fatty does, otherwise you've magically discovered a way to create energy from nothing, in which case you should go and tell the government because you've just prevented every future fuel war.

You're a fricking moron. Anon's condition does not allow him to burn calories at any reasonable rate. Literally the only way he could lose weight following your dumbass logic would be to not eat at all.

Fricking horseshit, there is no metabolic condition that can decrease your BMR by more than ~300 kcal, so he would've just needed to create a bigger deficit.

I literally studied medicine, you fricking moron. The human body is an energetic process that isn't infinitely optimizeable, so it's impossible for any living person to have a BMR lower than about 85 % of the average.

That just means he wasn't at a calories deficit like he was telling us.
Or at least he didn't know he had such a medical condition so he believed he was at a calories deficit when he actually wasn't.

Eating at such a deficit that goes lower than that just to lose weight is legit unhealthy and makes your body less functional.

          >functionally impossible

Bullshit. You can hit all micro requirements with less than 1000 kcal and even OP can't have such a low TDEE.

      This

Then how did I lose 100 lbs by eating the same and exercising less?

By speeding up your metabolism, obviously. That doesn't mean that you wouldn't have been able to lose weight before, it just means that you would've had to eat less than that.
