I got somewhere by only buying a nice bottle of whisky once a fortnight. It's like going from standard definition to HD, you barely notice it on the way up but it makes the cheap stuff taste ten times worse.
Clear spirits (gin, vodka, tequila) mixed with something calorie-free if you want. Throw in some cocaine/speed to increase heartrate and prevent drunk binge eating.
I used to really dig having one or two cold beers after work but it was tanking my test and made me feel like shit.
Not going to stop me from having my friday bud after work though.

Carbs from alk dont convert to glycogen though iirc? Means you still need some other carbs and definetly solid foods (protein at least)
alcohol will torpedo your gains no matter what. i recommend you day drink, empty stomach so as to maximize the effect of alcohol. Hard liquors only.

I just drink good wine, only on weekends and I don't feel any diference

Take NAC a half hour before you drink, and milk thistle with breakfast the next morning. Oh and remember to drink water 🙂
