Imagine unironically being a bodybuilder in current year

>refuses to train the biggest and strongest muscles in his body because he thinks it's "feminine" or "women don't care about big legs"
>instead does like 50 different exercises for his fricking front delts and biceps (gotta hit all the heads of the muscle bro!)
>actually believes in shitty bro science memes that doesn't even help build muscle but just causes more fatigue (muh tempo, controlling the eccentric, time under tension)
>follows a moronic program like a bro split where he trains each muscle group only once a week
>refuses to do cardio because he thinks it kills gains, wonders why he's winded out after walking up the stairs
>thinks height is the most important factor, not even for any real reason but just because prostitutes on tinder like taller men
>LIFTS FOR FRICKING WOMEN
>never did a proper beginner routine like SS or SL, fell for the "you won't grow muscle but it'll put you in t-rex mode bro" meme and wonders why the high schooler who's been lifting for 5 months mogs him in every lift
>cuts half the year and fricks up his gains just so he can have visible abs for like a month
>also thinks 1/2/3/4 is some herculean feat that takes years to get to because he's only ever been doing 3 sets of 10
>his goal body is whatever trend prostitutes on tiktok are pretending to like
>because he only lifts for anesthetics he completely loses his shit if his "muscle insertion genetics" aren't immaculate, quits lifting when he balds because "what's the point"
Fricking crossfitters deserve more respect than these morons

    >No, I need big glutes to fill up loose skin, therefor RDL and Hip Thrusts
    >I dont have time for that shit. Between 9 and 20 sets per week per muscle should be good, and I train on 6 days per week. Still love me some variation.
    >Why is it bro science when there are actual studies proving it? It doesnt make that much of a difference though
    >No, recently went from PPL to UL, so 3 days a week per muscle
    >cardio is based, both cardio for cardios sake and cardio as commute
    >I was married with children before I remotely got IST. Maybe being 6'4" helped with that
    >I dont chase big numbers no one who is not a powerlifter cares about
    >abs visible at a 15% bf round all summer despite eating without counting calories
    >1/2/3/4 is pretty good and I aspire to reach it, no need to hurry it though
    >there is no goal, only perpetual progress
    >have good genetics for height, hair and muscle insertions and be proud of what I made out of my body; initial motivation for lifting was health concerns though
I respect powerlifters and olympic lifters, but lifting for hypertrophy is just more fun. Especially if it works out and your looks go up by 300%.

      >>Why is it bro science when there are actual studies proving it?
Except the studies prove the opposite, controlling the eccentric is only useful safety and keeping your form, your muscles aren't going to grow more if your eccentric is like 4 seconds, moron
Muscle tears =/= muscle growth btw

theres literally studies comparing eccentric only to concentric only training and there's 0 difference in muscle growth. eccentrics are a fricking bb meme

OK but what about comparing concentric only to concentric + eccentric?

bulking and lifting heavy is fun but being lean & aesthetic has more social benefits
sorry, i abandoned the bloatmaxx lifestyle to get more pussy
it is what it is, enjoy your strength
i will admit that building strength & size is much harder than losing weight or getting lean

    >don’t train obliques bro, your waist wont be small and dainty anymore
    >don’t let your traps get too big it ruins your aesthetics
The worst part of bodybuilding is the trends like these. A tiny waist doesn’t make you look aesthetic imo. You look weak and are effectively kneecapping what is already the weakest point in many lifts. Lots of guys look great, but by maxing out on these dumb trends lots of guys become like the male equivalent of bimbos. Literally big breasts, comically small waist, big ass.

    Actually true, complete DYEL mindset.
    >Definitely go lower weight and focus on form bro, mind muscle connection
If you're natty, you're wasting your time doing this shit
