Lookism is the weirdest comic i had ever read. The first 200 chapters are a slice of life kinda girly comic about a fatty who can "transform to chad" for a limited time everyday.
Then the author was like "i always wanted to draw a shounen.. but this shit is giving me those wones.... you know what? FRICK IT. Im gonna grab these characters and Shounen the shit out of them!"
after like 200 chapters, lookism becomes a Very fun shounen manga.
Yeah, because if the women don't mean anything to the plot, the author disregards them as concepts entirely or brief mentions in the mangas that have been adapted. Just like it should be, don't have anything unnecessary just for marketing or it plays its audience for fools with cash to burn for fan service.
On the other hand Tetsuya in similar sense is a good anime to watch or manga to read, the manga makes the MC look even more badass as he just fricking assaults a rapist like its nobody's business plus the during-war/post war scenes in the beginning that were mostly left out of the show.
