That's not fast.
Use a military clock.(two circles where when one hits 12 the other stars counting up to 24, goofy as shit but it works.)
Yes and no.
There are no fasting benefits, but you don't feel tired after lunch because you didn't eat lunch.
Reel fast begings at 6days nofood.
Some people say coffee helps but it actually tricks your body into thinking you ate.
>Go to sleep >Wake up 8h later >Do a good lunch 3h later
That's it, you don't need more than that, I don't know anyone who said "bro just don't eat for 16 hours" and was not a fucking noodle.
I have been doing this for 2 years. General results have been interesting: Severe binge eating, depression, sucidial thoughts, caffine addiction, lack of motivation, anhediodenia, self isolation. But I have lost a few kilos and gotten significantly better at league of legends. So +- 0 basically.
16/8 is so fucking easy, your basically just skipping breakfast lol
i'm currently doing OMAD again for a 3rd summer in a row and by now its easy. Especially since Im now really metabolically flexible.
The hardest part is not the fasting, but not over eating during your feed.
yeah buddy that sounds like you got some other issues entangled up in there.

god isnt real and our ancestors were riddled with disease and health issues.
Obviously works because severe calorie restriction if you can then keep evening eating under control. For most people it’s just surefire way to binge eat daily at worst possible time.
>wake up at 7 AM >don't eat breakfast because rushing to work, waste of time, would rather sleep a bit longer >no eating at work because I'm working >work ends at 6 PM >at home at 6:20 to 6:30, dinner ready at 5 PM
Been """fasting""" most of my adult life apparently lmao
Whenever I fast for a day or two, I poop a lot so I end up feeling really cleaned out which is nice.

It really is super easy
Been doing it for 2 months 2 weeks now with no problem

Human body works better under stressors. You made effort before the meal and then you eat, the way God intended with our ancestors, who hunted with hunger and then enjoyed the meal. >Anon that's dumb
Ok then do some modern hippie BS to stay noodleman.
Not eating all the time means most people eat less. Fewer calories mean weight loss.
You're asking about benefits as though there is some magic. It still boils down to calories in/calories out, and to a much lesser degree macros. A benefit in my eyes is that when I handle food all at once I find it easier to measure portions to ensure I know how many calories I'm eating. Supposedly autophagy is increased but there is no reasonable way for someone to measure this and it cannot be perceived.

For me it's really just a lifestyle change not strictly about losing weight. Personally it's easier, and more convenient to eat from a 1-4 hour meal window, then I don't have to worry about food or cooking the rest of the day. Also makes your appetite vanish outside of your eating window basically, and even within my eating window I don't really get hungry anymore. It's all about CICO, but IF just helps maintain.
It is the least anabolic way to time your food. It makes you skinny fat if you bulk on IF and you might lose more muscle if you cut on IF. Only a few day fast once in a while makes sense for health benefits.
I've been doing that for the past 10 years without realising, only eat lunch at 1PM or so then dinner at 8PM, basically never eat outside of these hours otherwise, no breakfast, no midnight snack.
It literally is this easy, do people really spend all day eating?
yes theres a benefit, and its easy as fuck why bother making this post instead of just trying it

Don't care.
>16 hours is twice as small as 8 h
>16 2x 8
math checks out

It's bullshit for people who are to weak to stop eating slop.
Its end stage Atkins.
I find it's mostly mental, helps me feel fuller during cuts. I have no use for it during maintenance or bulking.
Any benefit to not being a fat pig that stuffs his face huurrr could be ....
