most precision sports easily. pool, darts, etc.
also, if you have talent: mma. its the only combat sports that actually works for older people, and 28 is just barely still young enough to have a career, given youre gifted for the sport and completely demolishing amateurs 6 months into training

Do guys like Uncle Rico actually exist IRL? How does a man go on throughout his days yearning to go back to a single instance of his past I'll never understand. Is it just an american thing?

it's too late for you not because of your age, but because you seek validation from randoms on the internet on whether or not you are capable of something

Not if if it's in your DNA -- top tier genetics always rise to the top

If a Mike Tyson or Michael Jordan or Lebron James or Jon Jones had started in their late 20s, they still would've been able to reach pro-levels in terms of performance because they are physically superior and training and skill are just a leveled playing field

Lots of ultra endurance athletes rise to the top of their discipline in their 30s and 40s. Many don’t start until that age also.

They’re pro in the sense that they do it for a living and have endorsement deals but they are very much not wealthy.

Most pro athletes of any real relevancy start around 5 years old. I consciously knew I was never going to make it by the time I started high school.

    >become olympic shooter
    >frick the girls in the olympic village because aesthetically you're good enough + dad mode niche and hopefully better social skills than moronic hot housed young athletes
