No but you have to live it, which means in order to be succesful in natty bodybuilding you have to tune your whole lifestyle to it.

Of course you can get fit but if you are never gonna make it then you could do just cardio and calisthenics and save money.

morons who think they are old at 30 are NGMI.
Black person you're not a man til your mid-30s. Men below 35 are morons and unfit to be fathers or leaders.
Women are fully grown the minute they start their first period.
Men have a long, arduous journey of physical, mental and spiritual growth to do.

The strange thing is you become a man in your capabilities by mid 30 but your body starts going downhill after mid 20.

        Objectively false.
At 35 you are at peak cardio form and peak natty strength (though after 40ish you will start to trend down very slowly). If your body is breaking down before 35 you are doing it wrong

Who cares, do it anyway. I just started lifting at 28 last year and my back pain from shitty posture is gone so even if I'll never be slayermode I'll at least be healthier

I started lifting at 31. I probably won't get a shredded body but right now I'm in the best shape I've ever been my entire life. Just do it

But I want to be shredded, frick.

If you want to be shredded, get shredded anon. Tf is it with people thinking 30 is their deathbed. Yes you will have to work slightly harder than a 20yo.
I'm 38 and I'm at about 20%bf (can see my top 4 abs) in another month or so I'm expecting to get down to 15% from roughly 30% 18 months or so ago. Truly shredded is about 10% or lower, just go for it anon

forget about achieving something. Just hit the gym and get a basic education and a job so you can afford to have kids so you dont die alone. Life ain't more complicated then that

My dad said he was in his best shape when he was early 40's. Was hitting the gym and doing centuries(100 mile bike rides).
IMO shit just get's harder as you age. He only fell off due to giving 0 shits about his diet for 2 decades.

Used to think about how much I had missed out on when I was 22, now I'm 34 and feel embarrassed at what an idiot I was to believe that.
I don't feel "old" and feel basically the same as I did 10 years ago. Been going to the gym every week since 18.
All I can say after looking at people around my age is if you don't ever turn into a fat disgusting slob you're basically fine until you're 45-50. That is the age where you've really got to start taking health more seriously if you want to stay that way.

I was lurking a 30+ thread a week or so ago and there was some pretty good advice in there and plenty of decent (and I'm pretty sure, natty) physiques.

Depends on what you want to achieve. If you've been a neet your entire life and want a great career in the normie sense, you might be fricked. Not impossible though.

When you're 35, do you think you'll be fitter if you lifted those years than if you didn't?
You just have to choose which one of those futures you want.

I'm 30 and started about a year ago. I can confirm that the muscles still grow in response to lifting.

my dad's 46 and has a 125kg tng bench after a year of training. It's never too late. He did do one low dose test cycle, so if you're on TRT you'd have even better chances.

  40. 2 years ago

Nah, just don't worry about getting huge. If you're dedicated enough, you'll look good and feel good.

  41. 2 years ago

Whatever you do, don't lift to make up lost time. That's how you start lifting with shit form to get the numbers you feel you 'should' have, get impatient hoping for instant results, program hop, etc. and end up getting discouraged. The person who trains steadily and slowly for a year will make way more progress than the person who goes too fast.

  42. 2 years ago
    Anonymous

No. I'm 29 and started lifting seriously this year and I'm good gains.
    Reasons why I think:
-way less stress and anxiety in my life now than compared to when I was an autist in my teens and early twenties.
-no rippetoe SS crap. I lift like a BBer. Take a lot of advice from John Meadows and Seth Feroce.

My cousin is 35 and started lifting obsessively 1.5 years and has made serioussss gains. Mostly does high reps, but gradually increases the weight. So now he'll do 2 plate bench for multiple sets of 12-20 or 40lb curls for sets of 20+ reps.
