Got no response to this in the last thread so idk if I should ask here or the QTDDTOT but can I do swings the day after shoulder/trap day? I feel like doing them on the same day will hamper my performance since I'd rather the kettlebell swing workour be all about cardio/endurance rather than some afterthought after a hypertrophy session
I don't think sore shoulders will effect the swing too much because it is a whole body exercise. The muscles really hit are the grip, glutes, hamstrings, and core, but swings are either a power exercise if done with high weight or an endurance exercise with a lower weight, so hypertrophy shouldn't negatively affect performance in my experience. I usually do swings after a lot of presses
Thanks bro, I used to do farmers/suitcase carry after swings too but if swings work forearms anyway I'll probably avoid doing traps 2 days in a row, like i said it's mostly endurance based, last workout was 10 sets of 25 swings with 30 seconds rest in between them with a 16 kg bell since im relatively new
Yeah I alternate loaded carries and swings and don't usually do them in the same workout. The grip is too taxed on both for me, but I'm doing heavy swings
It's true though. This is the only reason why these threads exist solely for kettlebells and never for dumbbells or barbell+racks. Some dyel wastes money on meme equipment instead of saving for adjustable dumbbells and a bench (the proper first purchases for a home gym) and suddenly believes he's got the secret knowledge to lifting. Then he makes a thread like this to rationalize purchasing said meme equipment with fellow dyels.
These threads exists because kettlebells have different programs than bbs/dbs and it is different tool for different job.
Also for some reason people who use kettlebells are not usually autistic.
It's so over for me, the 71lb bell I just got makes me feel like I'm ego lifting when I squat with it. Also I wanted to eventually use this thing for swings but I'm not sure how I'm supposed to fit this fat thing between my legs without spreading my legs pretty wide.
Just picked up a adjustable dumbell set with 120kg+ plates for 70 dollerydoos. Currently doing Rows, Curls (hammer and standard), flys, tricep extensions plus pushups, pullups and core work. I hike allot so not worried about legs. Any others I should be doing?
Why the kettlebell hate? Sure it shouldn’t be the ONLY thing you use, but ever so often I’ll end off my workout with some swings and it makes for some good cardio + posterior and leg burn. I think they have their purpose.
>no pull up bar
>complete home gym
Pull ups to be done on scaffolds outside ofc
city fags go die.
Yo dis bro gotta buy things to pull himself up on
You do have trees, right
Buy a power rack and a barbell
Another shill thread by Big Kettlebell.
Since starting kettlebells and beginning steps to dips/pull ups i have noticeably lost weight and gained muscle pretty quickly.
't do anything dumbbells can't also
Wrong.
>Doesn't do anything dumbbells can't also
>Plus dumbbell weight can be adjustable
It's a more ergonomic dumbbell
don't you get tired of posting the exact same lies every single thread
Reddit meme weights. Dumbbells much better.
i refer to people that use dumbbells as dumbcels
yes i am funny like that
Eh… you are a kettlecel!
Doesn't have the same ring to it..

ngmi
could u explain "feeling like ur egolifting"?
I'm successfully completing my squats but only barely, huge struggle.
that just means it is a productive exercise. don't give up just because it's hard
Alright! I'll keep at it, thanks.
the only people who use these gay things at my gym are dyels and the occasional whore
>What do?
you throw them in the trashcan and get pic related

get an adjustable bench and you're set to do most exercises you'll ever need
>so not worried about legs.
can still do RDLs, BSS, goblet squats, leg curl/ext
>Any others I should be doing?
pressing movements
Get 2 x 26kg kettlebell and do alternating presses
Ment to say 2 x 16kg kettlebells
dips
squat rack
bench
rings
indoor rowing machine (water)
weights

Just as their are ardent enthusiasts there must always be coping deniers, light and dark coexist always
>is a complete home gym in your path
Step aside boys
This is getting ridiculously forced. Is Pavel paying you to do this?
