        Compound lifts are essentially just isometrics for your abs. There's a reason why most exercises involve dragging the muscle through a full range of motion instead of just holding a contraction at one point.

        Lets make this very easy. Do your abs become sore from doing compound lifts? Mine certainly dont and i assume its the same for you so if you want a sixpack you should do isolated exercises for your abs otherwise it will take a decade or more of doing compound lifts until your abs are actually visible

            i will say more, if john meadows did scapular retraction and protraction movements he would still be with us
            michelin men suffer from terrible posture because their muscle is simply imbalanced, they don't do anything, i have seen none just maybe as exhibition of real mobility function, obscure muscle like serratus like middle of chest, like upper of chest, calves hams - read up on it, as u read read ur body and try to sync

          Chin-ups and pull-ups, almost always, front squats, heavy deadlifts and heavy squats very often, other than that i can certainly feel it but not so much.
