Yeah pretty close. But, with the rings since they are lose you can get even more ROM by rowing all the way up to your sides and you get crazy lower lat activation

I do like 3 different kinds of rows every back day they don't compare to deadlifts, I don't program heavy conventional deadlifts i just do them when i feel like it I program SLDLs and RDLs for volume.
Doesn't mater what I do I never feel it in my back even if I load it heavy enough that my legs shake my arms are the only thing that gets tired I tried gripping it without the thumbs since that's an advice some anon gave in a thread but didn't help, any other advice fit?

Deadlifts do train lats, and traps, and everything else on your back.
Why not just bent over barbell row tho
It's more stable when done as a hip hinge and the grip is nicer.

i love this exercise i do it in my home gym cuz i dont have a cable setup
protip: if you are homegym chad and you got gymnastic rings and a rope use the rings as handle with the rope around the bar. Insane
