Coffee definitely has its benefits, but you should be very careful with it. If you drink a lot and don't know why you're feeling like shit all day, try to cut back significantly.

I have noticed that drinking a cup of decaf in the morning has the same effect as normal coffee. The mental effect of waking up and sipping a hot cup of tasty coffee is more important than the caffeine.
