How do you even get to 4 plates as a normie, let alone 7?

      Are there magical accessories?

I do 3x6 @ 225 once a week and maybe go up 10lbs every 2 or 3 months. Been lifting for a decade.

I used to do 6pl8 diddlies (peaked in winter of 2021, now I'm a calisthenic gay). For me personally the key was when going for strength, I'd only so one working rep a week. Like I'd warm up a bunch, so I'd spend half an hour just getting incrementally more weight on the bar, and work up to one set in the 1 to 3 rep range. And on squat day I'd do deadlifts for volume (4 sets 8 reps).

For lower body I only did squats and deadlifts.

bro I could go to the gym right now after biking 35 miles this morning and do deadlifts for the first time since december and probably get a set of 250 at least

homie what? I've been doing deadlifts for about 9 months now and I can comfortably pull 150kg, I should be able to get to 4 plates by the end of the year if I keep my focus on deadlifts, and I'm only 173cm/68kg.

Assuming he's actually deadlifting and not sumocelling, it's much harder for a manlet.

That is 7pl8 by 10 lmao

you have to simply move up more dramatically and see if you can do it. I used to DL ~365 for reps over the years and thought it was as heavy as I could go, until some big guys at my gym saw me and told me to just try 4pl8. Didn't think I could do it, but they hyped me up as I attempted it and I ended up hitting 5 reps... but never really felt the urge to keep moving up or try for a 1RM. Frankly the body that DLing creates is just not very attractive and doesn't seem worth it. It seems like the kind of exercise that will destroy your spine over time. So now I just squat

        Okay, serious answer.

Sounds like your hands are failing the deadlift, not your back or legs. Human body can't pull what it can't hold. (though SS actually says you won't need accessories for your hands till heavier weights.)
I spent like three months stuck on 220-235 myself then got straps.
Started going to the gym regularly last two months, already up to 300lb on the diddly for reps.

I got to 4 plates for 1 rep on squat and deadlift in about 13 months. The prognosis is that you are a giant vegana and not training remotely hard enough.

DLing is much easier for a Manlet as long as his legs are proportionally shorter than his arms

Absolutely not. I'm 5'7 and my 10rm on squats is more than my 1rm on deadlifts.

You probably just have a weak back, anon. Increasing your range of motion by being a lanklet does not make the deadlift easier.
