Kek! He'a not completely wrong though
You end up getting rid of all your salt and you just piss away all your water and retain hardly any of it. But this only applies if you are sweating hard too and it's hot. We used to salt our water when I was working at a mine so we didn't lose too much.

            Anonymous

            >You end up getting rid of all your salt
Literally not a concern at all, unless you're eating absolutely zero sodium at all in your meals
            >you just piss away all your water and retain hardly any of it
Water retention is a serious medical issue called edema

              Anonymous

Like I said bud, it needs to be really hot. The mine I was in would hit 45 degrees celsius around the machinery and we ended up needing a ton of water and couldn't seem to get enough. A bit of salt helped that out.

Do Europeans just not hydrate at all during meals?
Do they not walk around in a state of constant dehydration?
I don't understand this, ok maybe in Germany having 2 beers with every meal is normal but if I'm drinking wine and eating I'm going to need to drink a couple glasses of water for optimal digestion and in Europe it's like basic hydration is completely unheard of

I've never noticed any benefits of drinking a lot of water, so I just drink when I'm thirsty.
RIght now I'm doing alternate day fasting to cut body fat, I dry fast, so no water for 24 hours+ and I notice no difference whatsoever on the day I don't drink or eat anything, apart from being a little hungry.
Drinking a lot of water is overrated, it's reddit tier, go back to /r/hydrohomies.
Right now I haven't drunk any liquids in 20 hours and feel the same as when I drink water.

Dryfasting actualy makes your body stronger as it has to adapt to the harsh environment and get better.
People who are constantly eating and drinking everyday are making their bodies weaker. They are the equivalent to a sedentary person in terms of muscle and heart health because they never stress their body systems.

I teach yoga asana classes, and people cannot go 1 hour without guzzling liquid. You're not supposed to have anything in you while doing asanas. I believe you're right.

        >Dryfasting actualy makes your body stronger as it has to adapt to the harsh environment and get better.
Yes, during a dry fast the weak cells of the body that can't cope die off, and the strong cells prevail and reproduce. It's survival of the fittest, and you come out the other side stronger as only the chad cells survive.
It's like race car development. They put the car through hard stress until a part breaks, then they replace it with a stronger part. The keep doing this until the car can handle a full race without breaking.
The same thing happens inside the body during a dry fast.

        >People who are constantly eating and drinking everyday are making their bodies weaker.
That's why fatties die young from various diseases, they never give their bodies down time with zero calories so their body can start pruning bad cells. They are just in a constant anabolic state allowing shitty cells to malfunction causing cancer, diabetes etc.

You don't actually need to drink a gallon of water a day to stay hydrated. It's just one of those moronic things people hear and regurgitate with no thought.

Optimal water consumption is different from person to person. One very easy way to tell your hydration levels is to look at the color of your urine. If your piss is clear and you're still chugging water, you're not only gaining ZERO benefits but at this point you're just flushing out needed salt and electrolytes.

      Listen to your body.
Water requirements vary massively by individual, regional climate and lifestyle.
An office worker in a temperate environment usually doesn't need 8 glasses of water a day (an arbitrary volume based on no empirical data).
An agricultural worker in the tropics will usually require a lot more than 8 glasses of water per day.
