They are fairly cheap here since you can buy them in a bag and they only cost about $10 give or take. Also, I really do enjoy the flavor, like this lady:

Average whole chicken here is around 1.5kg, when roasted and deboned it yields around 705g of meat. Divided into two portions macros are pic related (give or take) which is great.
Still only 20g/$. You can do a lot better but its alright i guess when you dont want to cook anything at all
20/$ thats pretty good for real food, what besides whey beats it?
Quark and Tuna. In Germany at least, ymmv
Or just milk. 35g/liter in whole milk and I can't imagine a liter of milk costing $1.75 in the US.
Yeah, true. A carton of milk is like 80 cents
How do I buy quark?
TW: hand reveal.
Quark is the best, one of the many reasons I'm glad to be an europoor. 250-gram tub, 25 grams of protein, 145 calories. All for 0,89 cents (0,91 freedom moneys).
Just make your own skyr
I do not have the facilities for that, big man.
You don't have a pot, a thermometer and a piece of cheesecloth?
A thermomewhat? Give it to us in english please, doc

Same amount of protein as skyr, which can be found at Target and Walmart (Whole Foods has a larger selection).
Skyr and quark are the same thing in the literal sense.
I roast chicken at home so the price is around 4-5€ for the whole bird.
Yeah but you have to roast it yourself. OP can just go to the chicken place and buy one. The optimal solution is to have a girlfriend (male or female, whichever you prefer) prepare the chicken in your absence
I don’t have to roast it, my oven does. My prep time is literally five minutes and in a hour and a half (basicaly what I spent exercising) I have delicious chicken to eat. Also cooking it at home is more cost effective.
Yeah but I work 10 hour days. Im gonna try to cook as little as possible.
At the grocery store
Fair enough.

I did it time ago because I wanted to know what is the real amount of meat if you roast a whole chicken. At that time my diet consisted of eating half a roasted chicken with potatoes and veggies for dinner and I didn’t know how to track the calories and macros.
Oh my bad bro, I thought that you sourced it from a store bought rotisserie chicken. Your macros are acceptable for a homemade one.
Nah, it’s been a long time since I had a rotisserie chicken from the streetvan vendor. I think the macros and calories I counted are pretty much ok. I usually count it as 600cal/100g of protein per 350g. Should be allright. I am not as autistic about this stuff as I used to.
I don’t give a shit what you think, homosexual. This is dead chicken thread.
I used to use my oven at work but I can’t anymore, they won’t let me back in there. I used to work in a big kitchen with all this state of the art top of the range gear. Mixers and dicers and ovens and cookers of all sorts in there. I used to go crazy on everything I got the chance to. But one night it was late and I thought the place was empty. Like a moron I went and stuck my dick in the bread slicer. I’ve never felt anything like it. But my boss walked in. Fired me immediately. I didn’t mind losing the job but the real shame was what they did with the bread slicer. They went and told her husband!
2/10 but i appreciate the effort
keep writing and youll get better!
you’re a terrible audience
I’ll be here all week
This looks too optimistic, source?
i don't think it's worth killing a chicken for your protein source
Chickens categorically deserve to die.
enjoy your heart attack ketolards
You look like a walking corpse.
A walking male coprse.
post body
>Is eating meat a good way to get protein
No.
Mfw I paid 8
All about those $5 whole rotisserie chicken from Costco.
>Costco
That can't be healthy... that's where poor people shop.
I use this macro https://fdc.nal.usda.gov/fdc-app.html#/food-details/1098425/nutrients
196 kcal and 25 g protein per 100 g
Almost half of it is fat, but I like to eat the skin. You may want to look for the other entry without skin eaten
>NS as to part
wtf does that even means?
>another can i eat a roast chicken every day thread of IST
Beats Nicocado's bare ass.
or the chicken and broccoli threads
Yes. Also there is something primal and satisfying about eating an entire animal in one sitting
I was saving it because I got nauseated by that pre cooked mini mall rotisserie chicken
It's a good way to give yourself heart disease. Try not to do that regularly.
A whole chicken is not 600 calories fricking fat Americans
