      Ye, fruit is the goat.

      Yes

Yes. Worst carbs are powdered or liquid. Fruit, rice, potatoes are okay. Sugar, flour, smoothies, milk are fattening.

Glucose is good, fructose is bad. Pasta, bread, potatoes, rice, etc. are glucose. Fruit is fructose.

Fructose has limited flow into the bloodstream, because it has to be converted into glucose by the liver. Fruit is great but it shouldn't be your only carb source. If you want to avoid oats and other grains, then eat tubers like potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, beets, parsnips, make a dank beef stew with em. Like goulash or borscht.

There's also beans. Nothing like beef chili with beans to fuel a night of muscle building sleep. There is a bit of that nutrient-blocking issue, but I don't think it's as dire an issue as IST makes it out to be as long as you have a mixed diet and every meal is loaded with all the minerals you could need. That said, when I feel like my soul is craving the nourishment of organ meats or oysters, I will eat them in isolation of plant foods just to make sure the magic works unhindered.

Can I ask why you want to avoid grains? They're not meant to be more than one small portion of your total carb intake, but I don't see a reason to completely avoid just a couple servings of whole grains like oats, brown rice or some dank bread.

I like to do fruitarian rolling 48s. For two days a week I only eat nectarines, cherries, strawberries, watermelon and satsumas. I've lost 25lb in two months.

Natural sugars from fruit still get broken down into fructose all the same in your body the way added sugar does. Fruits have a habit of being nutritious but you can still overconsume on sugar. The boring answer you're not looking for is to not eat too much of one or the other.
