However Vegans tend to lose weight as the Vitamin B-12 deficiency makes it impossible for them to hold onto both fat and muscle mass while the vitamin K2 deficiency (they're not getting the correct form of K2, MK-4, since that comes from animals and is the only form of K2 ever proven to be effective) causes them to lose bone mass. Ketolards can't lose weight because they don't know what they're doing and choose a diet that leaves them deprived of nutrition need to facilitate exercise and weight loss by often refusing to eat veggies or actually calculate out how much they're actually eating and how much they need.
It all comes down to the lack of a proper whole foods diet with the correct amounts of organic and correctly raised meat, dairy, eggs, vegetables, and fruits, with a limited amount of grain. A proper keto diet, one where you simply remove grains and legumes, and get your carbs from only fruits and starchy veggies. In other words, the classic low carb diet, is quite effective.
You have low free test on keto and carnivore because of the increased SHBG levels. Insulin secretition is what lowers SHBG and stimulates free testosterone production. Total T is unchanged on a keto/carnivore diet.
I've done CICO keto OMAD on a 1000kcal deficit with fasted cardio 3-4 times per week and I have lost 10kg/22lbs in 3 months going from around 18% to 12% bodyfat. It was my first real keto cut and here's what I can say:
