I looked like this before I started lifting. Tubby guy with some muscles from working a warehouse

This is the quintessential natty powerlifter physique. No arms, no delts, moobs and chubby.

That's result of lifting for years, getting numbers that mog 90% of lifters and still looking like shit.

he'd probably be way more chill and happy if he lost his chub and stopped chasing after a ridiculous goal of 300kg squat. it's like why the frick do you need to do that.

I can sort of relate. I was chasing a 300kg deadlift. I got up to 290kg and then I had an injury, which set me back, then the COVID lockdowns and I just kinda don't care anymore.

do you feel like chasing those kind of numbers makes you way more prone to injury?

No. The only major injury I've had is due to scoliosis, which I was born with.

Honestly I think chasing numbers at all inevitably leads to injury. People on fit talk shit but this is a highly unnatural repetitive activity. Water cuts through stone if it drips on it every day

Same thing happened to me except I just hit 3/4/5, just missing the bench and then I got injured doing westside shit. Then shit got shutdown and when I went back I was straining with a 3pl8 squat and I was just like what's the fricking point of this?

    >3 years of lifting just to look like a fat moron with beer belly and man breasts
    Powerlifting is a mental illness
What is even the end goal here?
To look like complete shit while increasing a number that has no practical benefit, and that women don't even understand or care about?

      >What is even the end goal here?
To say you don't care about looking good, only strength, when people ask you why you look like shit despite autistically lifting for years.

Does he ever do any cardio? Why does he think squatting every day is this magical thing when it clearly isn't? He's on day 1100 or something and still looks like shit while getting progressively more depressed.
