They all lift weights and pin test, so you might wanna just stick with that and avoid the dry humping gay shit and concussions.

Eh, almost. I really wanted to wrestle in high school. I was an (american) football player.

Wrestling is great and their practices are way more intense than football practice (even though we did two a days), but they starve themselves. That's why all wrestlers are DYELs and are like 5 foot 4.

    >posts picture of buff guy doing anything
    >dyels proceed to say that activity is what got them big rather than lifting weights and taking roids
Every time. I could post a buff guy fishing and you guys will come up with some excuse that it builds massive forearms because of wrist flexion.

Close second to (american) football. Football is unquestionably the most athletically demanding sport aside from maybe rugby. Football gets you muscular, lean and disciplined all at the same time. Pain tolerance gains too. Very high T.

This is the funniest shit I’ve ever seen. I remember running 3 miles to start wrestling practice every afternoon watching this gays walk to there field then watching them come back while we were still practicing. I remember multiple practices having to do over 1000 burpees because we lost a meet the day before. Football is for morons who prefer brain damage of a little cauliflower ear.

It's the best base for mindset gains. Wrestling is the most difficult sport and you will be better for it

The only thing that makes me regret not growing up in America is that you have wrestling as a school sport.

I don't know but out of lifting weight, running, swimming, biking, muay-thai, boxing, BJJ, wrestling is by far the hardest sport I've done, the first time I did it I've never been so close to passing out after a hour or so of sport, and I was already a fairly fit guy.

Unnecessary risk of injury if you are looking for health benefits. Kids parents better have good healthcare. Imagine never being able to do certain lifts in young adult life because some musty kid broke your sons collarbone. Swimming is better for a teen. They can lift during off-season

That's why you do not put a kid in football. The coaches simply don't care about their well-being and will put them on the fast track for a couple lifelong injuries.

Wrestling, whilst comparatively more potentially dangerous, actually puts an emphasis on a good training regiment and knowing when to go full moron on the mat.

A high school athlete would do 2 or 3 sports in rotation based off the season. Thinking that you're just a wrestler reveals a lack of participation if you didn't realize or laziness if you did understand what the coaches were saying

Cross country in the fall, wrestling in the winter, throwing javelin, shotput, or discus in the spring would be the coolest combination.

track & field, doing anything contact related as a kid is moronic and only perpetuated by parents seeking to live through their kids
