I go on a psychotic binge drinking spree once a month, but I am sober for the rest of the month until the next month comes. Is this worse than casual drinking? These sprees of mine usually consist of an entire 700mL bottle of Johnnie Walker Red, 10 Cascade Premium Light, and 5 high ABV "hustle and bustle" IPAs, and all of these drinks are spread throughout the day.

      Why do this?

Honestly? Because I don't see the point in casual drinking. If I am gonna drink, I am either gonna get very drunk or not bother in the first place. Also, I live in Australia where alcohol is notoriously expensive so binge drinking is way more affordable than casual drinking.

Yes binge drinking like this is much worse than having like two drinks a week. You’re just nuking your organs once a month dude

I've always considered casual drinking to be 2-3 standard drinks a day, every day.

          >2-3 standard drinks a day, every day
anything over 2 drinks a day (14 per week) is considered "heavy" drinking by the CDC but those numbers are based on flimsy outdated science. The truth is that 14-21 drinks a week is a lot and you'd be well on your way to health problems down the line

These numbers seem kinda sketchy just speaking anecdotally. 60% of the population having just over 1 drink every 2 weeks seems low. Im guessing this is subject to under reporting similar to when people self report calorie intake.

oh my goodness gracious, wine can have both the warmest, fuzziest, and wiggliest feelings and the saddest, waddiest, and teariest feelings for fitness! having just a tiny bit (1-2 glasses per day) can make your heart skip a beat with happiness, but too much wine (more than that) can make your liver cry a river, cause the roundest and squishiest weight gain, and make it oh so very hard for you to play and have all the fun, fun, fun! it's sooo super duper mega ultra important to have just the perfect amount of wine, like a big warm hug from a fluffy kitten, and also have lots and lots and lots of playtime and yummy, yummy, yummy food to stay happy, happy, happy and healthy, healthy, healthy! don't forget about lots and lots and lots of physical activity too, to keep your body fit, fit, fit and ready for all the fun! and always, always, always remember, moderation is the key to all the happiness, joy, and sunshine in the world! it's like finding the perfect balance between all the things, with a little bit of sparkle, magic, and rainbows! <3

The "one glass of wine a day is good for you" meme was created in order to hide how unhealthy PUFA slop really is for you. Right as coronary heart disease was ramping up in the states, americans looked towards the French who had one of the lowest coronary heart disease rates in Europe. Instead of making the connection that this was thanks to the consumption of saturated fats as opposed to polyunsaturated they thought
    >hmmm what do them god dang ol frenchies do that we don't? Yeah, it's the wine!
So due to pure correlation=causation moronation they heralded wine as a factor in lowering heart disease. Look into the French Paradox and israeli Paradox for more info on this. That said, I do love me some wine even though it is not IST in the least.

Or maybe it's because the French were horrible at reporting deaths and cause of deaths. Christ imagine still clinging to the "French paradox"

I don't have to imagine anything. Butter taste and olive oil taste fantastic, margarine and seed oils taste like shit. Go sell that slop to uneducated cretins.

Or maybe it's because Ancel Keys, a fraud who wasn't even a doctor was paid by Procter and Gamble who ran the AHA to sell their garbage product and demonize animal fats and butter.
PUFA garbage is bad for you and all non-pozzed evidence leads to it.
