        >difference between 2 jars

        >apply to forehead and temples / near nostrils for headache relief especially during cold/flu

"Tiger Balm" ointment comes in 2 types

        • clear white (better *non-staining*)
        • rusty red (leaves Stains on skin + clothes)

        Identical ointment except for color.

White is superior because it won't stain skin or clothing especially with sweat.

They both provide topical analgesic relief of pain symptoms, and differ in the addition of cinnamon oil (for color) for Tiger Balm (red). The heating vs. cooling effect is rather subjective ffs. No one was intentionally "lying". I've

works but the ointment jars and linemen bottle are small, but powerful acting

used both red and white ointments personally and never noticed any difference in physical effect on skin.

"But what - apart from the color - are the actual differences between the two? Both products are based on the traditional recipe of the brothers Boon Haw and Boon Par and combine the natural effect of peppermint, menthol, cajeput, clove & Co. Tiger Balm red N also contains cinnamon essential oil as another ingredient in the recipe. Tiger Balm White contains a higher proportion of the active ingredients peppermint and camphor. The two balms differ not only in appearance but also in effect: While Tiger Balm red N warms, Tiger Balm white cools."

No need to be mean. I've heard about various usages of this, some people even say it repels mosquitos because they don't like the smell kek. Was just wondering when people used it and when did they have results: muscle soreness? knee injury? Tendon pain?

            Anonymous

if mosquitoes are a daily issue, time to move from that place. otherwise, you use an actual repellent. if at home, you use raid or equivalent spray meant to be used for the intended purpose.

as for the pain types, all of above. it doesn't magically solve every pain with one aplication, but it relieves quite a lot. if.you do have something more serious (sprain, broken shit) please, don't be a retard and go to your doctor. it will aleviate some of the pain, but it won't do shit other than that.

If you mean the “hot” one, it’s fantastic. Always helped me with shit like pulled muscles and stuff like that. Also it’s good to use it as a lube when masturbating. Makes your pp somehow harder (better blood flow maybe?) and the burning sensation is cash.

I have the red one (somewhere) and yeah it works. During an army course my legs were fucking destroyed (nothing but punishment PT, normal PT, rucking, and fucking marching everywhere). So one night I went H.A.M. on the legs with tiger balm (I had it in my kit, my gf gave it to me). First time using it. Put way too much. The shit is absorbed by the skin pretty fast. The menthol or whatever made me have shivers like I was fucking freezing. Slept horribly that night. Layered up with my thermals, sweat pants, ranger blanket and two of the shack blankets. I was sweating bullets and getting turbo dehydrated but still freezing because the "cold" was coming from beneath the skin.

    Use as directed.

    nah, it works
    for headaches and sprains
    and for nasal congestion
I swear by it actually, one of the few things for pain relief when you don't have an aspirin on you

if you need it before bed and to go to sleep, you absolutely have to wash your sheets in the morning because your bed and room will smell like an sick/injured nepalese base camp

It's basically just mint and garlic extracts in some oils to carry them. In that sense it's not particularly different from other menthol gels or ointments you can get.
Menthol just provides some pain relief since it's a mild local anesthetic. At least IcyHot has some lidocaine in it.

This. I honestly believe "Tiger balm" is just marketing done right. Like in Traditional Chinese Medicine people eat tiger sperm or whiskers or whatever, beliving that some of the "strength" of the tiger passes over to them. I mean look at how many people in this thread swear on it, when it's really nothing special. But it has "tiger" in it, so people think it's strong and powerful or whatever.

And some you'll do for love, love, love.

    I like it.
