Probably not “way better” that a mattress that’s in decent shape, but I went from being on a janky, 10+ year old shitty mattress to sleeping on the floor for the past 2+ years and it’s done amazing things for my posture + back pain. Problem is now if I do sleep in a normal bed I wake up with back pain.

How the frick do you learn to sleep on your back? I can't fall asleep unless I'm on my side and I think it's messed up my back and neck. I've tried just going to sleep lying on my back but I just lay there for hours awake until I finally turn over

      I know that feel.
I just can't fall asleep on my back. The last time I tried I've spent 4.5 hours laying on my back and had to turn over, the moment my side hit the bed i instantly fell asleep.

I dont sleep on the back aswell, its uncomfortable for me. I recently got a really nice and firm memory foam pillow, its a heaven to sleep on it, i could never sleep on these soft pillows.

I sleep on my front and it's always fricking lovely. Have my girl's leg and arm over me knuzzling into me. That's the way to sleep boys.

just get a thick tatami or a futon floor bed at this point. You can get the solid support of a strong material without sleeping where you step.

That’s what I do, don’t have a picture of the bed unfolded but you get the idea. It’s great for me as a back sleeper but I can’t recommend it for side sleepers

I sleep like a baby and feel fit every morning since someone told me to sleep with your feet on a pillow for better bloodflow.

I sleep on old folded mexican yarn blanket I got years ago.
On top of that a folded Plash plakata/Romanian copy of Russian heavy canvas poncho shelterhalf.
Its the most amazing thing to lay down on and rest at the end of the day.
I sleep like log all night on my back, usually about six hours for the last ten years. Do alot of lucid dreaming.
My back and hips are so much better both in strength and flexibility.
