Is it even cool to be?

I felt like 15 years ago being fit alone meant something for your social cred. Only people who had a social reputation or were athletes lifted weights. If you were fit it meant you had the connects, guidance and willpower to get there. Nerds, weebs and homosexuals were rightfully gatekept and were practically allergic to weights during this time. They were deathly afraid of the big bad gym full of muscly high testosterone men. It used to be a misconception that the gym was only for the normies, athletes and the chads, so weebs were naturally repulsed by the idea to go to the gym. The internet wasn't that rich with information for a newbie to get started on weightlifting at the time compared to now.

Now with the modern internet and self-improoovement shills like that homosexual pajeet Hamza these same homosexual weebs suddenly have the confidence to show up at the gym. Routines nowadays are specifically tuned so that even a moron can decipher and apply it to their weightlifting journey, so it's almost guaranteed anyone who applies it correctly will yield gains. Being fit used to be a secret club with having different mentors along the way to show you the ropes and drop knowledge you wouldn't find anywhere, especially not in 2004 internet. Now even a literal low testosterone anime watching sperg can yield gains.

Just look at homosexual zoomers like picrel with his homosexual anime wallpapers in his room and his homosexual lisp. His high pitched voice pisses me off too. Even he's jacked despite how much of a loser he is outside of the gym. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaLtnvKeedw

What the frick happened to gym culture? Is it even cool to be IST anymore?

technique eats everything, whether it's business or recreation.

no more house builders, just construction technicians.
no more potters, just factory technicians.
    no more photographers, just trend-followers.
no more mmos, because everyone optimizes their gameplay.
and no more gym culture, because the gestalt has been optimized away.

Didn’t read all that but skimmed and got the bulk. I think it’s a benefit to society that people are more interested in fitness regardless of age or other hobbies that they have.

The thing I can’t stand is dyel zoomers who have been lifting for like 3 months talking about fitness like their experts, really irks me. It’s even more annoying when those same people start talking about using steroids “Dude tren XD”.

Look around in your gym honestly how many guys there actually have impressive physiques? Even if the gym is more accessible most people train like shit and won’t get results. Sure the numbers will be higher as more people are doing it but compared the general population that is getting fatter by the day good body’s are still in the tiny tiny minority.

Zoomers are the most moronic generation of all and will lead society into the end of times, so stop listening to their gay ass motherfricking concepts of what's "good" and look back on prior generations for your inspiration.
Zoomers are lost and can all be nuked for the greater good of society and humanity, they offer nothing and contribute nothing, so frick ever zoomer into the grave.

    >do you live in the US?
If so... I want you to take that word salad you just made and take it outside to the city and just look at the people walking around your city. I mean it, just take a fricking look at the average person walking around you. Now tell me, do they resemble anything in this shit you just made? EVERYONE CAN GET BETTER! This is not something new, this is something as far as back as the Greeks that was spewed. Probably beyond that, but that idea has never changed. Everyone can get better regardless of whatever fricking weird interest people have. Anime, nascar, sports. Hell, I want you to look at a sports broadcast and see the people in the stands. They do not at all resemble the very interests they possess. So they sit there in awe of people who can. THIS ISN'T EVEN BRINGING UP NUMBERS EITHER gay. So think about that and realize you're not even fricking lifting and exercising to make yourself better for "you." You're worried about everyone else. So stop worrying about that and keep working on it. Good things will be destined to come.

Bodybuilding in particular has always been a vanity discipline and rightfully not considered a sport.
Martial arts and real sports is where it is at, but then again even those aren't gatekept as bad.

You have to realize most human beings can get results and the filter isn't secret knowledge anymore but grit and discipline.

I still tend to be the fittest guy in any room and I don't go as hard as I used to.
The zoomzooms at my gym are either extremely skelly mode or fat as frick and rarely last longer than a couple of months. 30+ boomers don't suddenly start going to the gym unless they used to be fit in their 20s but even then it's rare to start lifting again.
Being fit and walking into a room full of strangers instantly commands respect, there's always the sour grapes fatties but even they will treat you much better than anyone else in the room. It doesn't matter if it's "cool", it is still the best way to have anyone take you seriously.

Those one-size-fits-all plans aren't fitness. That's why they're still fricking losers. They're just following along a new hypnotism instead of taking responsibility for themselves. However what they're doing can teach some of them to take responsibility by breaking their bodies until they don't have a choice. Then they'll finally get the lesson their feckless dads were supposed to teach them

At least at my work place, only about 5-10% of males look fit.
There's still some who are fit (like a madman who commutes 30km by bike to work everyday) but don't look it, though.
