for anyone that does nopoo, do you also use conditioner? If so, how often? Also, do you exclusively not use shampoo, or is it like once every few weeks or so?
Currently been on nopoo for like 6 months. Just started using conditioner. Used shampoo like 2-3 times within these last 6 months though because I don’t take showers often and it was getting really greasy

substitute shampoo for baking soda. it'd make quick work of the grease. shampoo will only make your hair more greasy

People on average lose 50 hairs per day. Nothing to worry about. Get some tea tree oil if youre worried. Hot oil treatment is also said to help

You are disgusting and likely stink. Just shampoo your hair like a well adjusted person. I had a friend who made their hair dreadlocks and it was the grossest smell I have ever smelled

If you were to wash your face, where would you stop? Of course you’d have to step into the shower first. Maybe next month eh stinkanon

I sometimes lose up 100-200 hairs when washing it, (1-2x a week washing) I counted a few times. I'm 25 y/o and I have really thick luscious hair, also used to wear it long last year and got a lot of compliments. So it's normal to lose even more. It's just more noticeable the longer your hair is. So depending on if your hair is short or long, you might be losing more hair but it just not being noticeable and vice versa. As long as you're not noticing thinning in your scalp, you should be fine most likely.

is this a normal amount of hair loss? Last month I switched to using shampoo+conditioner every 2nd day now suddenly my hands look like this afterwards. They only look like this after using shampoo+conditioner, when washing with water only a few hairs come out

It's normal for conditioner. It's because of the hair microscopic shape. When you use conditioner the loose hairs become more slippery so it's easier for the hairs that have already shed to stay on your hands because of a lack of friction. You're shedding the same amount of hairs over time, it's just easier to get the ones that have shed already to slip out of the rest of your hair when using conditioner. It used to scare me a lot when I first started paying attention to it. Hair density is still solid as hell even after years of this.
