I agree in principle but I live with my parents now and they are more extroverted so I have a lot of issues with them always wanting to talk to me and bother me about stuff-they also are fighting all the time about stupid shit and yelling at the tv like apes about sports or politics. I love them but this is no way for a man in his 30s to live. I think theoretically families should stick together as much as possible, particularly these days when everything is fricked economically, but sometimes it's not possible or otherwise ideal because of lifestyle/personality differences.

I lived with my mom for one year after finishing grad school and working full time. I had no idea where my gf would be going to med school so I took a job in my home town. Todays my last day. Moving this weekend for a job near her. It was great living at home but it’s time to move on.

I'm 23 and graduating in a few days and landed an average paying engineer job that begins in a month 15 minutes from home. I'm barely surviving mentally in here but I have free access to good food, a close perfect gym and free car. They refuse me to have any girls or friends over which hurts and they invade my privacy with letters or orders etc. Plan is to either move out this fall or work two years and have enough money for a house loan (I have saved pretty much 95% of all my money in life). Rent does not feel worth it vs two years more here bros. Ironically it is the gym that keeps me sane, it's like getting it out of the system. It's leg day in an hour. Keep lifting

Dumbass, you'd literally pushing your biceps to their limit! How the frick are they supposed to rest when doing that?! Workouts dont create muscle growth, they're just a stimulus and you need rest for compensation and overcompensation (i.e. growth)

          Anonymous

Keep talking dyel. It's obvious you're clueless. First off, recovery here isn't discussing individual muscle recovery. Secondly, small muscle groups like biceps heal in about a day. You can hit them multiple times a week. Biceps are fine 3-4x a week. Calves and abs you can hit every other day or even every single day without feeling exhausted and under recovering.

Third, rest day doesn't mean sit on your ass and do nothing. Active recovery beats complete rest 100% of the time.

Your 20s should be spend on education and getting skills and not socializing. Living with parents helps you build your networth quicker. Or another path is that you can just not work and focus on education fully while living in your parent's house, instead of having to do part time job to rent an apartment while studying. Meanwhile every gay who lives alone either wages non stop and barely has any savings, or he tries to study, but because he rents an apartment, he has to do some wagie work which in case of studying stuff like medicine, or computer science isn't ideal, because for these majors you need to focus on studying full time if you want a land a good paying job.
In the end it will pay off since you'll be able to have frick you amount of money in your late 20s early 30s.

Because our housing market is now perma-fricked and they spent most of their lives taking yearly trips to Mexico and buying sports cars instead of investing in cheap-as-frick property. They even sold our Grandfathers beautiful family lakeside cottage for pennies back in the early 2000s because they just didn't feel like "dealing with the uptake". That cottage is now worth close to a million dollars btw.

I feel your pain. I own nothing and my parents will pass my nothing when they die. I'm not even getting my father's house when he dies, apparently it's going to his younger girlfriend. That woman's family already own several properties to begin with. My father could have had a lot more to his name but he decided to frick around and pissed away his wealth on child support for different women. While his friends became millionaires buying cheap property, he was busy fricking prostitutes and drinking. My mother is the daughter of a woman with a 3rd grade education who got pumped and dumped by a well-off man. Said man, my grandfather, has a family who owns a bunch of properties, they the type of people who live in Beverly Hills or The Hamptons.

    >still able to save for plans/housing
    >parents are proud of themselves for having a fit son that works at home in the IT field and takes care of their technological needs
    >feel proud to help the woman that took care of me doing the hard work at home
    >watch boxing and kung fu movies with my 60 years old father, feel good to share hobbies with my old man
    >they know I’m not a moron so they don’t bother me for doing out and coming home late (6 am or so)
I don’t even need to bring girls, I frick an independent single mom that has her apartment for herself on weekends while the Cuck takes care of her daughter. Life is good when you share it with the people you love. Meanwhile, my older brother left home after graduating to form a family with a fat lazy modern “woman” that doesn’t even clean shit while I enjoy living without worries.

I love my parents, but I still want to live alone. Problem is, buying a house costs a ton of money and im a moron with shitty job. Paying a rent is not even an option, it's just despair mode I don't want

    >no idea what career path to take
    >live with family
    >small house, dad, his partner and my 3 "siblings"
    >only privacy I have is in my room
It's actually not that bad. While I'm not very social, I do love my family. Dad was wondering why I didn't just get a house when I was working 2 jobs, he didn't understand how I couldn't when he bought his house for like 250-300k. Then the smaller house across the road sold for 500-600k and one around the corner for 700k and he realised it's just not feasible for me to do with a single person income around here. I also don't want to just go out to nowhere and rarely see my siblings while they're so young.

    >I'm getting another 60k additionally to cover my living expenses, only have to pay back 10k afterwards
I have to say, leeching off the state feels really good, chances are I might just pack up and leave my country afterwards. My family might be poor as frick, but thanks to dem programs I can attend college without having to wageslave

I love living with my mom but I'm moving out simply because I'm obsessed with what people think with me. At least my new apartment has a gym and sauna to sweeten the deal, but yeah frick society not paying rent and being with your mom is based and I can't believe normies don't see things my way.

If we're being real I'd be just as much of a virgin living on my own and even lonelier. My dad is the only person I talk to about anything that isn't work.

No it's a rest day your supposed to be active resting not sitting on your ass but take the dog out go walk to the shops clean basically do daily normal shit and feed your body the nutrition it needs to repair and adapt.

Its the same as homosexuals who think they don't need time off if you are training hard enough week to week your body is slowly accumulating damage and fatigue eventually the pumps won't be as good and you won't be able to match last week or progress anymore thats when you deload because your bodies beaten up even if it doesn't feel like it and yes stick to your deload even if after 4 days you feel fine just stick it out you can still go to the gym and try different techniques , machines , lifts but not heavy for the next week when your fresh again.

31, moved back in during covid because I couldn't afford to live on my own. I had been saving to get an apartment with my now ex-gf of 4 years, but she dumped me to spare herself the pain of her cheating.

I switched careers and I'm saving up to buy a house, sat with them and told them I'd be here 1.5-2 years more so I could buy a house. They're supportive and want to see me excel, so we're all ok with it. They're in their 60s now, they just want to spend more time with me, especially my dad whose health is starting to wane.

Worst fricking excuse anyone can come up with
It's a conscious decision, you're going to choose to be a disloyal prostitute.
I hope you threw her off a building brother, inshallah.

I lived with my dad for way too long and it fricked me up because despite the fact he couldn't figure out how to cook a meal or how his credit card worked or how to pay his bills online, he only ever felt good about himself when he was belittling me and he made sure to do that whenever he got the chance. When I went and got my own place it turned out everything in life was actually super easy and now I'm making mad bankroll as a tradesman far outpacing any rent issues, and also I don't need to pay to feed my dad and brother any more. I'm still kinda waiting for the walls to start crumbling around me like my dad always promised me they would because I'm such a moron idiot frickup, but they aren't.

because most women are roasties and will refuse to even acknowledge you if they find out you don't have a place of your own. A woman worth a damn will acknowledge it and be ok with it so long as you're working towards independence and achieve it.

at least that's how it works in the US, other countries are a different story.

Because standards change as you age and what's expected of you is different. Why would a woman be interested in someone that can't even support themselves? Why would they even waste their time?

I'm 22, always lived with parents. I pay car insurance and help out with bills occasionally, that's it. Saving money is easy as frick. Putting 6% into my 401k, 6% into a Roth, and have invested $25,000 (still haven't made much profit from that though). Parents who kick their kids out are extremely uncaring in my opinion. Why wouldn't you want to maximize your child's financial security?

    >lives with parents gang
now let me tell you a story about what happened to me 2 saturdays ago
    >go to bar with friend
    >i'm tall, fit, attractive face and drunk
    >some drunk chick in her 40s comes up to me and starts talking in my ear
    >as drunk as i was all i knew to do in that situation is just grab her by the waist and pull her in
    >didn't get slapped or pushed away so whatever she was saying was probably something flirty
    >don't know what i told her during our conversation but she just turned around and walked away
    >bar closing
    >old chick walks past me and just said something along the lines of "go back to your mom"
    >too drunk to know whats going on so me and my friend just bought another beer to drink outside before calling it a night
so what i think happened is that she wanted to go to my place but my drunk ass probably said something moronic like us having to be a little bit more silent to not wake up my mom

this is why i decided to move out in 3 months just to save up some money to survive in another city before i find a job
