        Fun fact, you can still get fat on carnivore if you eat above your tdee (this means no bacon wrapped ribeyes to own the libs everyday).
        I did keto once and my lifts went in the toilet. I did lose a lot of fat but frick the gains lost took me WEEKS to regain. Also it tanked my test HARD.

          the issue is it's insanely fricking hard to figure out how many carbs you need it seems for me anyways to be around 125-150 grams otherwise i get too bloated and have to do cardio an uncomfortable amount most people don't like hearing they need to adapt their diet to their current fitness level and goals so they just either do moronic shit and never make progress or permabulk or something

        Both of those diets are garbage.
        A high quality meat base with leafy greens and moderate amounts of fresh fruit is the GOAT basic diet.
        Then you can add dairy/grains/nuts on top as required.

        From what I've read, the negative side of carnivore diet is that it's acidic and the body has to use a lot of minerals to make it alkaline, so with time you'll become deficient when the body sources minerals from the bones and you'll probably start to see health issues and diseases eventually.
        I'm not sure how accurate that is though, but it shouldn't be difficult mitigating by adding some vegetables sometimes or dairy products and supplements.

        It's more an issue for people like Eskimos that didn't have access to a varied diet and became calcium deficient, probably other things like selenium as well.

          The other problem with carnivore is the lack of potassium, unless you eat a .5lb of pork or more a day. You’ll cramp and twitch like a Mofo.
          Most carnivore dieters don’t eat pork because of “LePUFa when the PUFA amounts in pork are minimal compared to any plant based source. It’s cause they’re usually sponsored by beef companies lol.

    Just do 5 minutes of research into protein, fat, and carbs and fibre.
    It makes you lean because your body is better at converting your body fat into energy that it is lean meat or fat. That's why people carb load before doing a big run.
    Carnivore diet IS, objectively, stupid. Idiots do it and idiots promote it like they have some new secret understanding of science. Here's a hot idea: just eat /fewer/ carbs. So don't eat sugar unless it's coming from whole food, (like fruit) and don't eat loads of bread, pasta etc. You don't have to leap to the moron end of the spectrum to lose fat.
