I'm eating 1500kcal a day but want to speed up the process and not be out of breath all the time.

      Just go running

My knees are fricked up from being so fat

Imagine thinking you need to do anything else to lose weight other than eating less
Like bro you’re poor. If you eat less, you’ll be less poor and less fat.

If you are actually eating 1500kcal a day (i doubt it) then just keep doing that and stop wasting the money you don't have on stupid shit

Imagine being on IST and a bunch of pussies are telling people not to exercise
Are you gays trannies that are raiding or are you just underage dyels?

If you're a fat frick just get a Planet Fitness or Anytime Fitness membership. It's cheap and they always have sign-up special where you don't pay the maintenance fee.

Find one used for cheap. Got my last one for free
Cardio doesn't kill gains and will help increase gains if not overdoing it
I've used bikes for years with great success, recumbent bikes are fine
It doesn't matter what form of cardio/exercise you do as long as you stick with it
You buy one and continuously use it you will get results!

This is great suggestion. Recommend looking into it

          >best
Don't know if there's a consensus on it and if there is I'd just say you have to find what's best for you
I find 30-40 minutes daily LISS works great - walking/hiking especially hilly areas. A couple years ago I was running a couple times a week - 5k and that went well although I got depleted
For years I did 30-40 min daily of exercise bike in AM and gym later. Worked good
Currently liking the hill walks best. Had a good past couple years and this summer went very well

Do realize they are boring and only YOU will be responsible to be using it.
You can also develop some bad bicycle riding habits.

Oh, and cardio only kills gains if you do long distance type shit. Who cares if you are fat, cardio will kill fat cells.

If that's the one you're looking at, there's small under-the-desk ones, sans chair, for like $50. Start with one of those. If it works for you, great, gift it to a friend and buy a better one. If not, you're out 1.5 door dash orders instead of half a paycheck.

      >small under-the-desk ones
You ever used one? They look like complete useless shit
I like your idea for when it doesn't work out and the sales pitch. Genuinely, you've got a good mentality and it will serve you well

no, they suck. you need to lift your knees higher than the desk to use them. literally defeats the purpose. I sold mine.

Doesn't look too bad. I guess you could sell if if you don't like it or lose interest. People tend to buy shit like this and then just hang clothes on it.

    >NO
    NO

hurt my fricking ass bone for 2 years. takes up a lot if space, (doesnt fold) literally spilled puddles of sweat on my hardwood floor, foot pedals break in half a year amd engine/mainbodyshit gets really creaky like nails on chalkboard after 6 months

buy a rowing machine like me. its just $100 more on Amazon for a good quality one

      >literally spilled puddles of sweat on my hardwood floor
Are you complaining that the cardio machine made you excessively sweat lol. That means it was working
I know you are not exaggerating because same happened with me. Had to wear sweat bands/compression clothes to stop pools of sweat on the floor
      >foot pedals break in half
You mean the straps that hold your feet?
      >engine/mainbodyshit gets really creaky like nails on chalkboard after 6 months
That's shitty. It's cheap chink made shit so it's always hit or miss if you get a shit one
Can tell you used the shit out of the bike, I like it
      >buy a rowing machine like me
Completely different ballgame. You know damn well that rowing is a killer and not friendly to someone just starting. That is a machine that will get used once and never again. With the recumbent bike OP can pedal at a nice pace while watching his homosexual Chinese cartoons of big titted lollies

i got 1000 calories in hakf the time as that shitty frickin bike and i didnt spill frickin puddles. i simply got moderately sweaty but i go at the rowing machine shirtless and in my boxers now, before on the bike id wear a shirt and its get loaded with sweat and id still have puddles of sweat on the floor

i used to play destiny pvp while using the bike it did get me into my fitness journey

the footpedals themselves that your feet use to motion those gkt fricked up. the bearings inside broke and rusted. it made noises and theyd lock up

          Love it!
I can't remember the numbers/distance I was doing but I sure as shit wasn't going for 47 minutes
You have to realize you are well above an average fit person
I still can't get over your disdain for that bike. Like I said I know all about the sweat, exact same for me. I don't sweat like that now and I bet if you hopped on that bike you wouldn't either
The pedals on all these cheap bikes are the same. I've had to use ones from one model on another. It's all cheap shit. I ended up buying clipless pedals and shoes and like that. Used that for years
          >i used to play destiny pvp while using the bike it did get me into my fitness journey
Exactly! I finished many careers of NHL 11 on that bike. Got me back into fitness and the start of getting out of absolute shit health
Keep it going, you are well on your way

Oh hey look at that someone made a thread about stationary bikes, I was just about to myself.
Will a stationary bike nab me the same level of cardio and effort as a real $1k over priced bike?

      Anonymous

Checked and not the same but a good enough level of cardio/effort. Nothing will beat being outdoors and riding
Stationary bike will definitely work if you do it consistently

What the frick is that? A bike for lazy homosexuals who insist on lying down even when they're riding?
Buy a real bicycle and go outside you worthless lazy tub of whale blubber. Accept no substitutes.

While obviously nothing beats the real thing and especially getting outside you have to start somewhere
When starting you have to remove as many barriers as possible
These homosexual bikes are great for starting and frick me if I still don't use it
But get outside as much as possible. The sun is healing

No, nobody in history has ever sticked to using these at home. It's a novelty, you just wont use it. It's much easier to go to the gym and use a bike for 30 minutes 1 hour whatever than do the same at home. It just is.

Best way though is to eat less and walk 10 000 steps. Walking doesn't increase your appetite, it's very easy. The downside is that it's not time-efficient.

      Anonymous

What works for one person doesn't always work for someone else. You absolutely have to find what works for you and when you find it keep doing it. Don't let others convince you otherwise. That being said
      >It's much easier to go to the gym and use a bike for 30 minutes 1 hour whatever than do the same at home
Completely disagree. When I'm at the gym I want to lift. Being on the cardio machines is boring as shit, especially at the times you are talking about
At home you can watch a movie or a couple episodes of whatever trash people watch. Play video, watch Tik-Toks of underage girls, whatever
      >Walking
Love walking and it works very well. The eat less and 10000 steps is legit and the not increasing hunger is huge
You are dependent on weather though, winter's coming and it gets below -30C. Don't be a pussy and just go, I've done it consistently but it's a huge barrier. Hell of a lot easier to hop on that bike
Rain, snow, wind, no good walking areas are real downsides. You have the bike you can do both

Get a gym membership for a month. Go there and do the bike everyday. If you stick with it, get one for home. If you don't, you clearly don't need to buy one because you don't really care about getting in shape.

if youre fat you lose weight by eating less. i lost 10 kg in a year by eating 100 calories a day less.

No, is never a good idea to buy cardio machines 99% of the time they stay unused, better spend that money in a second handed real bycicle and use it to commute everywhere, at least that's useful
