Do it. I am 33 and have just started getting fit. I am starting to see results, and it feels great.

I started at 26, as a life-long sedentary gaming dweeb.
At 32 I deadlifted 240kg, both sumo and conventional, squatted 255kg with a belt after squatting 240kg beltless and benched 165kg.

that's when you are dead. You aren't dead yet so you can still make it.

I'm sick and tired of all these "is it too late for me to make it?" posts, they're fricking pathetic. No matter what age you are it is ALWAYS better to be fit than fat or dyel. You can be the guy at school who lifts weights, plays sport and has a social life, or you can be the one who does nothing but play vidya, eat cheetos and hangs out with other losers on discord. You can be the boomer with a beer gut who struggles to do anything physical after a lifetime of being sedentary, or you can be the guy everyone says "looks good for his age" that can still go for a jog while his friends are all using walking sticks.
    >Is it worth trying to get fit...?
YES IT IS JUST FRICKING DO IT ALREADY

Your attitude is so repugnant. Even if you didn't have much longer in this world, why wouldn't you make the time you have left better?

Was there ever an age limit to making it? It sounds like you're looking for an excuse from someone on the internet to tell you that you don't need to work out due to limitations out of your control. The fact of the matter is that it is never too late to be making better decisions for yourself.

Absolutely. There is not much difference between a 20 year old and 30 year old in terms of gains they make. Individual differences in genetic potential has way more to say then age.

    34 here.
I have my high school body back. While I see my fellow 30+ers turn into their Dads and Mothers, I laugh. I have never felt better and had this level of self-confidence. It's nice seeing 19 year old grills check you out.

34 here and started lifting around 30. I've been sporadic with it but for the past couple of years I've been much more consistent and the results do eventually come. I still look like shit but I'm definitely stronger and more muscular than ever before. The biggest issue with being old is that you have to fit it around the myriad of other responsibilities you likely have as a mature adult. That's why I struggled to stay consistent at first, because I was working full-time and trying to flip a house entirely by myself during my free time. And I made the decision to stop going to the gym to focus my energy on that project instead. I regret doing that because of the lost gains, but the fact is that being fit takes a lot of time and dedication. It's not just time spent in the gym, but time spent shopping for, preparing, and eating nutritious food, time spent planning workouts, and making sure you're rested and recovered. You've gotta make sure you're not slipping up those aspects or it's easy to let lifting burn you out as an adult.

      >It's nice seeing 19 year old grills check you out.
      That must feel great brother.

19 y/o zoomer here. i was fricking fat, ugly, and dyel until I started going to the gym consistently like 7 months ago. I still have some body fat but I am visibly no longer dyel. Stay strong king, don't let life pass you by. My greatest regret is not knowing what I know now freshman year

Do you want to live the next 30 years of your short miserable life as an ugly unhealthy slob before you die of a heart attack and shit all over your bed while the perimedics carry you out of your house after your neighbors smell your rotting disgusting corpse and they all watch in horror while everyone curses your existence?

Do you want to be fit, strong, happy, healthy, and enjoy a wonderful 60+ more years with your family and then go peacefully in your sleep while being surrounded by friends and loved ones after using your energy to better their lives while they thank the universe that they were lucky to have known you?

If you're OP then you genuinely don't deserve to make it with such a homosexual defeatist attitude. That's the absolute most b***h made response you could have given to that simple prompt. Maybe it is best that you cleared yourself from the gene pool so you can't infect humanity with your loser DNA if some bawd ever has pity on you enough for you to let you cum inside her after 5 seconds of "fricking" her with that pathetic excuse for a dick you have
