    i've been keto (closer to carnivore) for 2 months now. i started it for the mental health gains i heard about like helping reduce anxiety and depression, having more mental energy throughout the day, and reducing brain fog.

    so far it's been amazing for all of these, my anxiety and depression is almost gone, and i feel i have a more stable mood and stable energy levels throughout the day.

    also it's been a lot easier to stick to a calorie deficit on this diet than other things i've tried (i'm a fatass). i've lost about 14 pounds in these last 2 months with a deficit and daily light cardio.

      I've had a very similar experience to yours. All the same benefits. Keto is so close to being perfect.... if only it was better for gym performance and hypertrophy.

      The only catch with Keto is that eventually you crave pizza, pasta and rice.
      Its also the type of diet you can go 2-3 weeks on just to see if your normal diet is complete fricking blood sugar jank or not.

    The majority of any weight-loss diet's practitioners are dumb because people who let themselves get fat are categorically dumber than thin people. And like all dumb dieters they take liberties with the diet that render it less effective.

    I dont know about going full blown keto, but cutting down carbs has always helped me lose weight.

    You still have to be at a calorie deficit to lose weight, but since you’re eating very calorie dense fatty foods you’ll probably not feel full and your portions will be way smaller than what you’re probably used to.

    If you have the discipline to do keto right but apply that to just being mindful of calories you’ll probably have much more success and be less miserable when dieting.

    Try all the diets and pick the one that provides you the most energy. We are not all the same.

    That said, I would bet the reported benefits of keto have everything to do with the elimination of GMO grains and seed oils rather than the elimination of carbs in general. So, if you're poor, keto will leave you better off than goy slop will (hence the persistent anti-keto seething). But if you're rich, just buy real bread from a baker and shit.

    There are people devoting a ton of energy towards keeping you on the goy slop. Learn to spot their bullshit. I don't do keto, but i believe anybody saying it is just bad are deliberately implying that it's worse than the goyslop diet, which literally nothing is. They are what you think they are.

    Tried it for a short while, definitely felt better mentally but then started having trouble sleeping. Obviously works for some people, even if it's simply due to cutting out shitty food.

    ke-to is excellent for quick weight loss while still being healthy, probably the best

    I wouldn't consider it long-term
