Neck training, fish, and spar with women. Spar with men once every 2 months or find a guy who can actually pull his punches.

martial arts are meme. you take more beating than possibly prevent unless you are like living in favela and seeking trouble. martial arts can destroily your smarts and looks not to mention giving you nasty violent urges and thoughs. pick some noncontact sportsball like basketball or soccer if you really beed competition. best way to stay safe is to be situationally aware. life is not some stupid action/chopsocky movie, even thinkingvabout such things is a waste of time.

You live in a bubble of safety built through bloodshed and violence.

Being strong and capable of fighting but choosing not to is pacifism. Being weak and relying on your enemy's mercy for survival is cowardice.

What kind of a man are you if you’re unable to inflict violence? Being a violent person who doesn’t act out is a good thing. You sound like a total sheltered pussy; let me guess, never even got in a fight when you were younger?

That's not even a real thing. You're a comic relief character from an early 2000s teen movie, nothing more.

You already have brain damage from imageboard use and from reading manga.

In muay thai we spar very light unless there’s a mutual understanding/escalation. By sparring light, you’re able to do it every day.

sparring is lightly hitting your opponent, you use gloves 2 sizes bigger and just touch one another.

Without sparring you can't learn boxing in my opinion

You can't learn boxing in my opinion unless you actually fight, not just spar.

You can drill a lot. Or spar without gloves. The gloves are the actually dangerous thing.

It's not possible to learn to box without actually boxing.
You need to accept that you will get some brain damage. 100% of boxers from absolute hobby amateurs to professionals have brain damage.

As cardio it sure is but don't expect to be able to box if you ever need to fight because you need to spar if you ever want to fight if needed.

Yeah go learn it. You say you will never spar, but it never works out that way. Eventually you want to test your skills. That will inevitably lead to you stepping inside the ring.

Go to a boxing gym, where they don´t rip off your head, use a head gear (yes, they actually prevent concussion and brain damage to a certain degree) and tell your partner, to only do light sparring. If he goes to hard, tell him to go slower or don´t train with him at all.
If its just a hobby for you, its not worth to risk any sort of damage. Still, a little bit of sparring isn´t to bad.

doesnt matter, just take them off, you stay close to your opponent anyways, seeing the colour of his eyes is irrelevant, just what he's doing.
      or do grappling

I'm almost blind without glasses and been training boxing for one year and something without issues, you really just need to be able to see the outline of your sparring partiner and his gloves, no fine details needed. beware of retinal detachment tho, chances of it happening when you get punched in the eye are much higher for people with a high degree of myopia.

Yeah. Also dont worry too much about sparring, unless ur opponent is some try hard moron sparring between beginners isnt going to give u any head trauma. sparring in general shouldnt give u any head trauma

just take them off i u dont want to use lenses, most of training wont be sparring anyways
