This is my cruising pace for the past few weeks, between 1 and 1.5 kilos less per week. Will it give me saggy skin?
I'm at 1300-1400 kcal/d.

nope. just take a few days of dieting, if you start to feel really lethargic, or other noticable issues
Yeah i have one or two big cheatmeal per week (not above my TDEE)
saggy skin is determined by your genetics, and how big you were. ive heard a bit of vitamin-E cream can help, but it wont perform magic
I did that for about a month. Then I stalled for 3 weeks. It all averages out somehow in the end
I also have plateaus sometimes but usually it goes away the next week because I am more careful
>1300-1400 kcal/d.
If you're losing 3 lbs at this cut then you must be fat af to begin with but yhen you say 1-1.5 kilos per week that is a huge range, losing half a kilo of fat is a 4500 calorie deficit or ~650 calorie deficit/day
You're going to inevitably end up with loose skin when losing that much weight
See
Looks like you lose about a kilo per week, that's fine then
like anon said saggy skin is genetic though given enough time it will tighten up assuming you aren't flying squirrel mode
Yes it depends, between 1 kilo and 1.5 kilos per week
This week I lost 1.5
From 92.5 to 91
It happened several times
Is it going to be ok or should I try to go slower?
I'm not huge though
I was at 104 kilos 6 months ago
Now I'm at 91
says here you were also 104 kg 4 months ago
Also you're the one who started the thread saying 3.3lbs/week weight loss then posted a chart showing slightly less that kg/week wiehgt loss
I said that I lost an average of 1 to 1.5 kilos per week
Not 1.5 every week
You think I'll get saggy skin at this rate? I wasn't morbidly obese though, my highest weight was 106kilos
I was fat but not fat af
But it's true that I lose and gain weight very quickly
I don't know why
>180-152
>5'7" manlet
>BMR 1600
>Eat at 1k to 1.2k cals
>No loose skin yet
hmmmm
You were just 80 kilos, it's normal to have no loose skin
I guess I was demoralized by IST. I figured because I was 180lbs 10plus years it wouldnt suck in. I'm still a bit fat, but doesn't look like gyno or skin problems
Nice anon
I start from 106 kilos and I aim for 75-70
We'll get there
How do you (accurately) get those numbers?
I use a smart scale and a Fitbit.
Picrel, smartscale
Pic rel, CICO
OP's post implied he had a 2750 calorie tdee and implied he wasn't fit to begin with so he would've weighed quite a bit for the math to workout
You know what an average is? Just look at your chart and see you lost 13kg over 4 months so you averages less than a kg/week
Sorry if I wasn't clear
I wanted to say that I had several times losses of more than 1 kilo per week, sometimes of 1.5 kilos like this week
And I was wondering if this was a problem
Also, my average weight is less than a kills because I haven't been losing as fast since the start
But I increased the deficit in the second part
I start from 106 kilos and aim for 70
Do we have saggy skin with 36 kilos of weight loss?
Depends on how big you are currently. It’s recommended not to exceed 1kg or 1% of your body weight (whichever is lower) per week with weight loss to prevent any number of possible side effects, loose skin being one of the lesser ones. That’s a very conservative limit though, most people won’t suffer many side effects if they exceed it a bit. I’d recommend slowing down to 1kg a week max once you’ve got notably lighter though, every week the 1-1.5kg you’re losing is a larger and larger percentage of your total bossy mass so it gets harder to maintain and possibly dangerous if it’s too much of your total body weight. Genetics also play a role (roll? geddit haha) in your skin elasticity, so it’s possible that you could still get loose skin even taking all precautions or you could lose 2kg a week and be fine (unless you’re morbidly obese, in which case you WILL have loose skin after weight loss). There are ways to treat loose skin if you do get it though, you probably won’t be able to get it completely back to normal if it’s more than just minor, but it’s better than nothing.
