I'm no doctor but I've never heard of anyone with sleep apnea who wasn't obese.
And even if you lose weight and it doesn't fix the apnea, a bunch if other shit eill be fixed by becoming a healthy weight.

I got it from taking roids and doing neck hypertrophy exercises.
Just check any of the bodybuilding forums. Just about every big guy has it.
The mass of a muscular chest also impedes breathing at night.
I dropped 20 lbs so far (15 lbs water and glycogen after coming off blast) and it is definitely helping.
Presently and about 15% bf gonna try to get to 10%.
I think a lot more roiders have it than are aware. I didnt know I had until my bloodwork showed high hemoglobin and hematocrit, both of which can be caused directly by steroids not just from sleep apnea.
I think much of the trouble sleeping, lethargy, moodiness etc that often attributed to roids are secondary to the sleep apnea.

I got a little chubs last year. Dropped 30lbs off at and stopped snoring/apnea. Back to being a dead quiet sleeper again. Damn Jack In the box almost took my ass out.
If you are built and have a big muscle bound neck, not going to help. Need a machine.

Braces will fix this. Widened my jaw. Still have mine for 8 ur past months. Said it would take 2 years. I tape my mouth shut every night to make sure I breathe through my nose

shit, this is me. Always wonder why when im laying down i breath and my breath seems to not go out my mouth or nose, it kinda hits somewhere inbetween, which is not practical. Doesnt do it when i stick out tongue so imagine something going on here. My sleep is fricked too. Always wake up with head feeling like ive been punched around the head during the night.

cpap didnt work for me. try playing digeridoo 25 min a night and always lay on your side, preferably left, with your head tilted up.

I was on a CPAP for years. Lost 60 lbs and then went for a re-evaluation. Doctors puzzled "But anon, if you don't have sleep apnea insurance won't cover your equipment", yeah I don't want the fricking equipment strapped to my face unless medically necessary. Did the study and no more sleep apnea.
But I did still snore. Reduced that by taking bromelain and quercetin, These work together to reduce airway inflamation among other things.

I have no idea if I’m getting tricked by a supplement israelite but inflammation is the cause my apnea so I’m willing to give your recipe a shot

I tried a CPAP machine and that didn't help because it was uncomfortable to sleep on my back anyway so I just elevated one end of my bed so I sleep at an angle and it fixed it without needing the machine.

      What end did you elevate?

Head end because I don't think having blood pool in my skull would be healthy. I got a set of furniture lifts from home depot for like $20 and just put them under the feet of my bedframe but if you have some bricks or a chunk of wood that'd also work.

I had severe sleep apnea, my breathing stopped an average of 89 times an hour. I got a CPAP machine but it didn't work. The mask couldn't seal itself properly against my skin because I have a beard, so the oxygen that was supposed to go to my lungs escaped through the cracks. I was 401 pounds and the doctor said that either I shave or lose weight.

That was last June. I'm 321 now, still plenty to go but at least I sleep much better. And my beard is as magnificent as ever.

yes. Being lean is paramount to good sleep. It might not cure apnea, but if you have it, then you should do whatever necessary to optimize your sleeping patterns

Losing weight could help depending on how fat you are. What also contributes to sleep apnea (obstructive sleep apnea) is jaw misalignment and septum size. If you have an overbite this will contribute. If your nose cavity is simply small, this will contribute.

i never knew i had it until i was dating this girl and she was like
    >you know you stop breathing sometimes in your sleep?

I was 6'2 and weighed 175. So while being fat doesnt help, its not impossible to have it if you are skinny
