I used to be in decent shape, but struggled with some health problems over the last two years (car accident that broke my leg). I ended up gaining an enormous amount of weight, and am wondering if I can fix my body with proper training, or if I will require surgery to not look terrible. For reference, I am 6’4” and 265lb.
Thanks for any opinions, mean or nice. If you guys have any recommendations for an exercise regiment, I would really appreciate it. I’m pretty much completely healed, but would like to avoid anything that could reinjure my leg.
Do Starting Strength. Get down to 250 and you’ll be fine.
Thanks for kind words. Do you think any type of strength training will be fine?
I used to do a 5x5 workout when I was in college, but I am really anxious about hurting my leg again with squats
id recommend dirty bulking for a year or 2 ans then blasting tren
I’m really ignorant when it comes to tren, but isn’t that a steroid? I would like to avoid that if possible.
I don’t need to get huge. I just want to feel healthy again.
he’s trolling you, obv don’t do any anabolic
Bro you are literally me 4 month ago same weight and same height I went on like 600-800 cal diet now I weight 180lbs and bow stuck in skinny fat mode but still I feel 100 time better after lossin that 80 pound in 4 month even though i still lool like shit never been more happier
Holy shit man what a coincidence and honestly that is insane progress. Congratulations!
How many days a week were you working out like that? Did you have a specific exercise routine, or did you rely mostly on the restricted diet?
I seriously didnt know anything at all about fitness was eating 600-800 mostly carbs and little to no protein cal at most and doing cardio on treadmill for 50 min everyday burning about 500-600cal but and that's why i am skinny fat at 180lbs I would highly recommend eating high protein food lift weight and any program will work for you it dont matter really as long as you stick to to it for some time dont follow my method its way to extreme and you will become skinny fat
Thanks for sharing your experience and the advice. I feel much better about starting to take my fitness into consideration again.
Best of luck to you and Merry Christmas man.
Don't do this OP. This is crash dieting and this guy will probably gain it all back in a year or two. Eat high protein, lift heavy, walk a lot, maybe even start a team sport or buy a bike or something.
You want lifestyle change, not instant gratification.
I think thats the move for me. I want something that is sustainable through my life rather than getting fit and getting fat again when life gets busy.
Join the /fat/ general, they're cool bros.
Also get my fitness pal and track calories.
TL;DR chicken breast, yogurt, eggs, and vegetables are your new best friends. Also drink a lot more water if you don't already.
WAGMI
Hell yeah, I’ll check that out.
Thanks man and hope you have a merry Christmas 🙂
Too much bodyfat, bad posture, little muscle mass. No problem fixing that but it may take 1-2 years even if you're really diligent.
That’s fine, and honestly what I was hoping to hear. Timeframe isn’t what concerns me. I just wanted to make sure it was possible since thinking I’m too fargone at this point has been a real motivation suck for me lately
Yeah I’m just moronic lmao
Sam Hyde?
Frick how’d you figure it out
you have the nipples of an Irish/Italian mutt
