      Peanuts have only 3g of saturated fat per serving and a whopping amount of good fats.

      If you're buying overpriced store brand peanut butter it's going to be packed with salt and shitty oils, but you can buy a pound of unsalted peanuts for next to nothing, throw them in a food processor for 5 minutes with 2 teaspoons of salt (or less if you want) and have literally the best peanut butter you've ever tasted.
      Beats even the most "healthy" looking option in premade peanut butters that come with a layer of rancid oil on top. The homemade is light and fluffy and incredibly delicious.

          It says no sugar or oil added and vegan friendly. Which is nice. The only worrying bit is that it doesn't list country of origin, just says something along the lines "Outside EU".

      I got the one that's only peanuts and palm oil because I'm avoiding PUFAs, looks fine to me. Some folks hate on saturated fats though so who the hell knows

          Finish your thought. Palm oil is low in PUFAs. Yes, peanuts contain some PUFAs, but I'm not worried about the amount present in a jar of peanuts. The real problem is when you take a massive amount of onions, corn, sunflower seeds, etc., and you distill a small amount of oil out of it that is highly enriched for PUFAs.

    Its okay but fatty so not great for carb loading and shit quality protein so not useful to supplement protein

    If I eat too much peanuts it makes me feel bad. Whenever a food does this I am cautious. Never felt bad from too much cashews or walnuts

    It's highly caloric and has lots of omega-6. For those reasons it's probably not that healthy. I'd eat it in moderation. Gigabulking with 1000kcal of peanut butter a day probably isn't advisable.

    Peanut butter jar and a spoon is my favorite snack. I learned from my mother’s father and I always looked up to him because he was the kind of guy who was always kind but could snap in an instant if he was disrespected. Once saw him knock my uncle out cold in the mud in front yard. My uncle is like 6,5 275 pounds grandpa is like 5,10 250.
    Tl;dr peanut butter makes you a man.
