Depends. Peating is kind of vague in its entirety with a few solid recommendations and a lot of people on the forums experimenting with all kinds of weird supplementations and diets. Some of those guys are pretty far out there.
The basic stuff, like improving metabolic and thyroid function, eating more sat fats, avoiding pufa, aspirin, sugar... All very easy to test yourself. For me, personally, avoiding PUFA, consuming more saturated fat and adding honey to my diet has improved my skin, my sleep, my energy levels and leaves me with mostly warm hands and feet which is indicative, generally, of sufficient thyroid function.
I don't intermittent fast anymore but I still lift heavy weights three times a week and still drink alcohol at the weekend which is probably not 'peaty'.
All in all I feel better and look better so I'll keep doing what I'm doing.
