    Au contraire homie

If you're actually training hard, you will not recover properly from PPL so you end up wasting time. 4 day a week upper lower or 3 day a week full body are superior because it allows you much more time to properly recover.

That's a damn lie lol. I made sick gains with ppl working out 6 days a week, and know other people who have.

And you'd have made the same if not more if you stuck to a serious program. Not saying it's impossible to make gains on PPL, just saying it's a waste of time compared to UL or full body.

not a single pro bodybuilder on this planet trains full body
          >b-b-b-b-b-but muh roids!!!!!
          still

If full body was better, it would be even better on gear

Not a single pro bodybuild on this planet is natty. That was the entire premise of this thread fricking moron. If you're on drugs you can train way more. If you're not you need more time to recover

How though? Properly done PPL only hits the same muscles twice a week. I switched from UL and had no problem recovering.

Central nervous system fatigue. If you actually do heavy lifts and push yourself to failure you just get fatigued after a couple of weeks doing it. If you're a gay little moron who just hops around the gym doing whatever, sure you can recover from 6 days. If you train hard it's better to take more rest.

You don't have to do PPL 6 times a week though. Don't know why people are so set on having to train everything multiple times a week when in reality it doesn't make much difference at all. PPLx or PPxLx with higher volume works just fricking fine.

            >You don't have to do PPL 6 times a week though
then what's the point of PPL? At that rate you work a given muscle less per week than you would doing UL

              cause it's more fun homosexual

Literally how? This is the most subjective claim I have ever read in this site "yeah bro I have more fun lifting 6 days over 4 days bro" then just do UL and go do cardio or abs 2 more days?

Whatever program I do either PPL or UL I still end up skipping the second leg day, lower body day. Frick training legs two times a week.

Its doable. Just unnecessary and arguably unsustainable (overtraining, joint overuse, etc)

From my experience I used to accumulate fatigue and was absolutely fricked 6 weeks, had to take a week off every 6-8 weeks to actually properly recover

I can see that. Some weeks I skipped the second leg just because I was feeling gassed and I hate legs. Never needed a full week though.

Most people only do PPLPP skipping the second leg day but honestly who gives a frick if you mostly care about looking good.

I'd rather do full body and train leg every day than have two full days for lega like on upper lower.

If you search PPL results reddit on google you'll get a bunch of homies who made crazy gains on PPL while you can barely find any for full body or anything else.

        >You don't have to do PPL 6 times a week though
Not only you hit the right number of sets per week for that muscle (groups) but also 6 times a week guarantees you not staying in the gym more than 3 hrs per session.

        >pic not related, just a thot

I often do 1.5HR seshes training as hard as I can and I recover fine from PPL as a natty. If you can't recover fine from PPL as a natty you might have shit tier genetics.

Thank you. Yes. I looked at his youtube channel after I saw him on this podcast. His "channel trailer"/hype video was the most homosexual thing I've ever seen

PHUL is much more reasonable than PPL since it's only 4 days a week instead of 6, should yield similar results

I think yes if you only do 2 compounds and 2 isolations per workout.
