Is roughly 37.5gs of protein a day a good amount for a 5'7'' guy? This is usually what i get in the mornings from my protein shakes. Do I need more? Or maybe i need less?

    50 grams per day minimum for adult humans. 0.8 to 1 gram per pound body weigh per day when bulking.

    You need to up those numbers substantially.
