You'll stink a LOT for a couple weeks while your body gets used to not having it's oil-layer sheared off. If you can get past that (and you're thorough about scrubbing yourself, using your fingernails to scrape your hair and etc.) you'll probably have a healthy sheen to your hair and skin- unless you're a genetic dead end and then you'll still be stinky and have acne.

do you not use them then?

I stopped using shampoo about a year ago, I just rinse thoroughly with water. Seborrheic dermatitis has really cleared up, hair looks fine, I'll pretty much never use shampoo again unless I have some shit in my hair and I have to

      what about soap

I've used shampoo maybe once or twice this past year
It's a slight improvement with my hair being less frizzy than before.
My hair is also more greasy than before, but I think that's normal bc ur hair isnt supposed to be literally squeaky clean as mine was.

I stopped using face soap and I think my skin was less prone to acne, idk. But i started using it again to get the sunscreen, retinol, etc. off

Absolutely fricking nothing happens. You won't stink unless you have fungus growing in your pits and hair which is surprisingly way too common apparently.

Its common because fungal spores and germs are literally everywhere and all over pretty much everything. Which is why its a good idea to use soap. We don't live in a vacuum, so you should take care to scrub off the shit that builds up on you everyday.

Maybe if half the population wasn't overweight this wouldn't be such a big issue. Someone who doesn't shower at all but is skinny is at a lower fungal infection risk than an overweight person who showers every day and scrubs their whole body with soap.

Use unscented PH shower oil, it lasts for two to three months and actually helps your skin glow if you are moisturizing the body after with unscented creams

I shower 4x per week and use conditioner 1x per week. My hair and skin looks better than ever. I do brush my hair 2x per day to prevent dandruff.

The key is to exfoliate with somethihg like a natural loofa. Most soaps hare harsh on your skin and have compounds which are estrogenic and will transdermally get in your blood, lowering your T and making you a gay troony. So use a natural soap if you must.

I have only washed my hair with water since 2017 and I can tell you that shampoo is an absolute meme. "Sham" is literally in the name. After a few days of adjustment your hair will be completely clean and healthy like nature intended.

Bro, I stopped going to showers for a year and my body learned to turn the stink into pleasant aromas. Everyone around me are like
    >bro your scent is so lovely, what kind of perfume do you use?
I never tell them the truth because nobody believes me

I don't use shampoo, only conditioner because it makes my hair too dry. I also don't scrub my entire body, only pits, crotch, asscrack, and feet.

You'll smell terrible because you'll have neglected to remove and kill the microbes/fungi/grime/debris that actually create the bad scents as they mix with your sweat. Worse case scenario you might give yourself an infection or a rash if you have any open cuts that you proceed to repeatedly rinse the cumulative grime build up into without any soap or soap alternatives. You could probably avoid that doom shit by at least showering with salt water or baking soda if you really wanted to skip the soap. You'll still smell like ass though.

I haven't used soap since I was a child. I honestly don't understand the point, do you guys actually have stinky skin??? You use soap on your arm or leg and if you don't it stinks? I just don't understand, the water washes away dirt, what is the soap for? I'm 100% serious, the use of bodywash is the more ridiculous thing I can imagine.
