Is starting to lift at 20 still worth it? I should've started at 17 when I got a gym membership but I barely went there + lockdowns.

    i started at 25. got from 72kg to 95.
This is me about 2 years ago at age 32. I got leaner, but more defined.
Diet is super important. I lowkey have decided to be at around 85-90kgs for the rest of my life. Over 90 feels heavy, below 80 feels weak.

Yea, just do it. Do it more if you are going for competition. Do normal 3-4 times a week for health. Can't stress how much mental and physical health gym has brought me.

I started at 18, I'm now 27 and realistically there is not a huge difference today in my physique between the current, and had I waited an extra 2 years. Just get in there and start working out, it'll eventually become a habit to the point that no day feels complete without some form of weightlifting or at least some form of exercise.

What is it with these moronic threads lately?

Starting to lift at any age is worth it. Boo hoo you missed out on the optimal starting time, but as long as you don't have a foot in the grave, lifting will be good for you.

You can say the same thing for stretching, eating well, and cardio.
