            Doesn't matter. Unless he's 80lbs 500 calories is enough to lose weight. Also I can guarentee he's not eating 500. As you'd be losing hair and teeth at that point. All around he's either lying or unable to count. Sure he's lost weight, but at 400lbs, even 2000 calories can make you lose weight

          my brain seemed alright, but every week or two I had 750-1000kcal "cheat meal'. lost .5lbs a day walking once a day. Got to twink mode pretty fast.... well besides my frame not being twink.

      Fat people are missing some of their mental faculties. I won't say they're all stupid, but something is just missing. You don't get over 300lbs without something being wrong with you mentally.     Like the reply said, unless they were 4'10 and 80 pounds, there's no way they're not losing weight. I say that as someone without legs and wheelchair bound. I eat about 700cal/day as maintenance. This guy has no idea how many calories he's eating.

      One issue that dieters have is that activity makes them more hungry. There's of course a counterargument that building some, any muscle will increase your tdee and make it easier to lose weight, but at this point it's someone's personal battle with hunger and food addiction and you never know what's the right advice.

            Bad for like 2-3 days. But once it became routine i wasnt even thinking about it. I would only eat 1 meal per day at around 5pm and drink coffee in the morning. Meal would be big but not calorie dense

    No I lost weight like water on a daily intake of 1500 calories.

    You just have to count very accurately, including the amount of sauce and oil you use while cooking.

    Starvation mode is bullshit, the people in picrel either can't count or just pretend to be special snowflakes who break the law of thermodynamics due to muh genetics.

    Actual starvation mode happens if you are at a low body fat percentage like 6% or so. This is based on experiments conducted on people who were starved and bedbound until they reached that level of leanness. I forget the name of the study.

    It’s basically impossible for you to actually get lean enough for starvation mode to kick in, because hunger increases exponentially as you drop below 12% body fat. That’s why you don’t see people walk around shredded year round unless they’re completely psychotic.

    I'd ask how long it's been happening weight plataeu's happen im fasting with just electrolytes and water and my weights been at 233 for a couple of days. Likely water weight fluctuations. I know my weight will eventually drop so im not worried. Also time of day matters when i just get up im 230.
