Is tahini sauce another sneed oil that should be avoided?

Is tahini sauce another sneed oil that should be avoided? Somebody on this board was saying its a different type of omega 6 PUFA that isnt as harmful as others. I find it hard to believe but if true, further elaboration would be nice

youve obviously never did a strict keto diet before. its literally impossible to put on extra body fat doing it properly unless you forcefeed yourself. your body automatically adapts to its natural lean state over time due to your hormone levels resetting to where they should be

I'm literally an ottermode lanklet, you were expecting me to be fat or something?

The only time you should be consuming oil is for medicinal or remedial use. The only fats in your diet should be the ones you get from eating unprocessed food. Typically ketolards forget that there are fats in nearly everything from potato to oatmeal. You wonder why you're having so much trouble losing weight while carbaholics like myself have no trouble at all.

I never said once I had trouble losing fat...if anything I have a hard time putting on muscle. Also the fat content in potatoes and oats is so negligible you'd have to be moronic to count it

lmao dude, do your keto and then have a liver panel done. Enjoy your dyslipidemia and high cholesterol, atherosclerosis is for life and you don't feel like you have a "health condition" til you're on the ground having a heart attack

Does anyone else think tahini kinda tastes like magic mushrooms? I like tahini don’t get me wrong but it has this subtle aftertaste that really reminds me of tripping shrooms

It is similar in carboxylic acid profile as basedbean oil if that's what you're asking, 30-40% linoleic acid. Linoleic acid is not inherently bad, the beta oxidation of unsaturated acids is faster in the human body. The primary disadvantage is that large amounts of unsaturated fatty acid consumption can lead to ROS generation that can induce inflammation or cancer, in theory. You can eat it in moderation with no problem, or switch to an oil with fewer double bonds like oleic acid in olive oil/rapeseed oil if you're really worried about it. "Seed oils" is just a meme to cover up the biochemistry of fatty acid metabolism and make it digestible for apes like Joe Rogan, it really doesn't matter that much if you're eating in moderation.

Tahini is ground up sesame seeds.
It's just as bad as other seed oils.
It will depress your metabolic rate just like the others.
Most middle easterners are fat, even without access to fast food.
