They're more expensive than cliff bars but they have more protein and way less sugar than a cliff bar, so I guess it's worth it. They're tastier as well.
Well what are you gonna do when you get hunger, anon? I don't bring my lunch to work and eating a protein bar keeps me satiated between meals, or at least till I get home. I get home around 1-2 PM, and I tend to skip breakfast, frankly don't have time to make breakfast.
Also it's not $10? It's about $2 a bar at my local hippie drug store. That's still a lot I suppose for one protein bar.
>overpaying for a candy bar
these are either troll threads or mass marketing campaigns
>All protein bars are candy bars
Afraid of a tiny pinch of sugar? Get over yourself. A cliff bar has 17g of sugar, that bar has 6g of sugar, you're not going to get away from sugar, at least if you want something to taste good. It's not like you're not allowed to have sugar, just keep it in moderation. You people act like you can't even have 1g of sugar. I don't even drink soda or eat candy.
> I don't bring my lunch to work
Why not? $2 really isn’t terrible but you could definitely make something more filling and better for you for $2 if you cooked it at home and brought it
>I don't even drink soda or eat candy.
yes you do, you eat candy bars
>6g of sugar a day scares him >The AHA suggests no more than 150 calories per day (about 9 teaspoons or 36 grams of sugar) for most men.
Jesus, take off the tinfoil hat. 6g of sugar a day is negligible in the grand scheme of things. Do you people seriously avoid ALL sugar, that's somewhat hard to do when most food has some form of sugar in it, at least in America.
>I don't bring my lunch to work >I tend to skip breakfast, frankly don't have time to make breakfast.
Lol what do you do for your health then stupid?
I get bulk Premier protein bars for ~20$ for a couple dozen, they each have 20g of protein and 2-3g of sugar at most. They taste... not great but they're bearable, certainly seems like a good balance overall in terms of convenience/price/nutrition.
Anyone got any protein bar recipes? Tired of trying to sift through recipes where I have to scroll through a 3000 word essay about their childhood to get to the recipe only to find out there's only 6g of protein in the bar
>paying almost $10 for 30g of protein
A fool and his money are soon parted

Yeah "moderation" like something sweet once a week, not a candy bar every other meal dumbshit
